I came home from school one day and saw my dad sitting on the couch in the living room with his Loki costume on and his dark hair slicked back. He had his head in his hands and I heard little sniffles and sobs. I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. My mom saw us and came out of the kitchen to explain what has happened. She says that dad has made a deal with someone to save us. Dad slowly looks up at me with red eyes from crying so much. He regrets the choice he has made, but he would do anything to save his family. Mom told me what the choice was that Dad had made and after hearing that I won't see him again, I started to cry too. I hugged him as tight and with all the love that I would ever give anyone. Mom said that he had only a few minutes to be here as my dad. I stopped hugging him and he handed me a paper folded like a card. When I was little, I would get lots of papers and fold them all like cards and draw me and my family in all of them and dad would help me hang them up around the living room. I took the card from him and proceeded to open it. Dad stopped me and made me promises that I would open it with mom when he was gone. That was such a heartbreaking thing to think about. To realize that my dad, who has always cared for me and loved me no matter what problems I caused him, is going away and I would never see him again. Mom told me that dad's body would be here, but it wouldn't be him on the inside. Suddenly, dad started shaking and convulsing on the floor. I started crying and freaking out and mom was crying too, but I think she understood what was happening. I tried to hold him and try to stop the shaking, but mom pulled me away and hugged me and we both stood back not knowing what would happen next. After 2 minutes, dad stopped convulsing and he was just laying on the floor. I thought that he was unconscious, so i went up to him and hugged him, hoping that he would snap out of it. My mom noticed that his eyes were open and she ran and pulled me away quickly. I stood there staring at him as he got up and walked upstairs. He walked into my parents room and I saw there was this lady that looked like Harley Quinn and there was a chair in the room. Dad sits down in the chair and the lady takes out her makeup kit and starts by spraying his hair green.
