The Letter

It was about to be 1951 near Christmas Eve, when the letter with the note flew out of Emile's hand and into the wind. She tried to get it but the wind carried it too high, this letter a letter written for her love of a man named Edward whom she met and fallen in love with for a year now. Emile knew she was going away and this was her way to say it best since he came along once a month from the navy. The letter blew on and on out of Emille's sad hands until it got stuck on a front porch window then blew into the wind once more until hours later the wind stopped and the letter landed miles from it's destination on the lawn of a man named Scotty Lewis, who was an older gentleman in his early 60's. He saw the letter on his lawn and picked it up. At first he thought it was trash, but upon reading it and it's contents he decided to keep it. So he put in it a special box for the next 30 years until at the age of 90 he passed away. Well a month later when his teenage son was going through his belongings and found the letter which read:
