{Intro}

*Flash forward*

As I lay my head back I start to relax. Finally I have time to sleep since I've been forced awake because of this boring road trip. I can never fall asleep when I'm bored, I wanted to sleep and not have to talk to him or even look at him. This doesn't last for long because then I hear a big crash from... right in front of us. I turn to him, he fears what might happen next.

Suddenly we hit the car in front of us, their car goes flying down the other side of the road while ours rolls into the ditch. I struggle to loosen up as I am being tossed around inside the car. They say the more tense you are during an accident, the more injured you will be.

Suddenly everything slows down as if I had the power to do so. I take deep breaths and calm down. I look over at him and he has cuts all over his face and arms. Everything speeds up and we landed abruptly.

My head starts pounding. I can only hear a ringing going throughout my head. It won't stop and I start to panic. I push on every wall beside me. I start screaming and hitting everything I can see. My vision is blurry but I can see that our car is upside down. I look over to where he was sitting and he isn't there. I scream his name but he doesn't come. I begin to sob but no one hears a thing, this is it. I'm dead.

I wake up in a hospital bed. I look around to see that no one is here but my stuff is sitting next to my bed, and so is his, and my mothers. Oh no! My mother, I can't imagine how scared she is right now. My mother is a very emotional person and she cares about me a lot, so she would do anything to protect me or make me happy. But she is what makes me happy. I slowly lay my head back down on the bed and shut my eyes. I'm interrupted by a knock on the door. Then it happened. He walked in. I immediately shut my eyes again for I don't wish to look into his eyes. My hands start trembling as he starts walking towards me. He finally reaches for the side of my bed and grabs my hand.

"Sam?"
