I am the river flooding with emotions

I'll change from happy to sad in a heartbeat

It's all a mixture

My existence grew boring quickly

Day after day I'd read, but less emotion came with each page

So then, day after day I'd rearrange my galaxies

My star-filled days grew routine

Until through magical mystical mysterious ways

I was teleported by faith's wish

Our eyes met

Yours, a mysterious inky jail hiding tales I'd hear in the future

You were different

I didn't expect to fall so quickly

Craving our differences, craving your mystery

My old self began to emerge once more

At first, I was your plaything

You didn't realize you were mine, too

I learned about you, growing ever more intrigued

You were a black hole

You kept sucking me in further

I panicked, fearful of what life would be like without my order

You were confused

I was drawn in further

I made my decision on what I'd do

You began to recognize me as something more

I knew it was progress

You acknowledged me much more

I continued what I was doing in earnest to see more of you

You began to open up bit by bit

Sunshine slicked stories slipped through the cracks

Piece by piece I tore down your wall

Greedy for more of you, to understand you better

I was myself again

With my patience and with your everlasting patience

We became equals

I shed elated tears that night

From then on I'd notice little things you'd try to do

Sure, you weren't always confident

But I'd always appreciated the little things anyways

Eventually you began to understand me better

You made me laugh with your space joke

I couldn't contain my joy, and again was sucked so much further into your love
