I live with my parents Lacey and Mathew Collins. My dad is the Alpha and my mom is the Luna. They both fell in love at a young age and of course are mates. I on the other hand have not found my mate. I'm 5'2, with brown hair, and green eyes. I'd like to think I'd get taller but I probably won't.
I'm currently getting dressed for a formal dinner. My parents we announcing important news tonight. I slip on a white long sleeved shirt, a black leather skirt, and black ankle boots. I apply a little makeup after curling my hair then leave for the restaurant.

Flora's P.O.V
I see my parents and sit down next to them. I notice my parents friends and whom I'm assuming is their son. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a pearly white smile that can make any girl fall head over heels.
"Hi honey, I'm glad you could make it", my dad says with a smile on his face.
"Hey everyone", I replied making myself comfortable.
"As you already know this is Karen, Eric, and this is their son Mason",my dad states.
"It's nice to meet you Mason" I reply with a smile. Which he quickly returns.
"So the big news your mother and I needed to tell you is that you and Mason will be getting married" my dad announces with a huge grin on his face.
Did he think I was going to be happy about this or something, because I'm definitely not.
"What no I can't be married to him" I yell with tears spilling out. Mason starts looking around embarrassed and slightly confused.
"You can and will" my mom firmly states.
"No I won't, I'm waiting for my mate" I screamed. It's not that I don't like Mason, he's cute and all but I'm waiting for my mate.
Without thinking I run towards the woods and shift. Without looking back I run as far away as I can.
