I sighed. As I lye in bed staring at the ceiling, I thought about what she should do today with everyone, and smiled as I sat up. I walked into the bathroom of her apartment. I shrugged, because I couldn't really afford to go anywhere else, and it was expensive enough in one of the cheapest apartment buildings in the city. I glanced at myself in the mirror. I shook my head and brushed my long brown hair. After tying it in a loose braid, I got changed into my daily clothes and grabbed my blue bag. It always had my sketchbook, pencils, teleporation crystal (to get to farther places quicker), and the good luck charm that Mika had given me for my birthday two years ago. It was a little tiger figure, and I smiled and put it back in my bag. Nate had put a spell over it so that it wouldn't get wet, start on fire, get robbed or have someone oped the bag that wasn't me, or get lost. If I did lose it, it would give off an annoying beep until it was picked up. I locked the apartment door, cleaned off my glasses quick, and walked down to the stairs that lead out of the apartment. I had to meet my friends at the local cafe in about five minutes, and broke into a speed walk.
I arrived at the cafe and spotted my group. Nate, Cal, Garett, and Mika were all sitting at a table and ordering something from a waitress. I rushed over and sat in between Nate and Mika. I checked the menu quick and ordered a fish basket and an orange soda. "Summer, you order the same thing every time you come here. Why don't you eat other stuff?" Mika leaned on my shoulder. "Because, I love fish and orange soda. I've tried the other food here and it's all good. I just like the fish the best." Mika rolled her green eyes. "Whatever." She sat back up and joined the conversation with the rest of the group. The magic type I chose in "The School Of Skilled Minds" (I still laughed at the name) was the power of imagination. This allowed me to think of literally anything I wanted and could have the choice on whether it would come to life or just float around my messed up and disorganized brain. I smiled evilly and pictured Mika's charms floating away, just out of her reach above her head. I closed my eyes, pictured it vividly, and hoped that Mika wouldn't notice before the others did. Mika wasn't wearing her charms, so it would be easier for them to "accidentally fly away above her head". I focused my eyes on the charms, and slowly, they started to float up, and above Mika's head. Nate, Garett, and Cal all noticed but kept the conversation going. I joined in, and caught on to the topic of what they were going to do today and for the rest of the week. Mika still didn't notice, even after they had finished eating. "Oh! Guys, do you want to to to the new ice cream place later? I hear that they have some really cool flavors! And I got this really cool charm from a dimension that I've never heard of! Here I'll show-"
