I got up and put my glasses on. I'm your skinny average teenage girl. I have light brown, almost blonde, hair and blue eyes. I'm not the most popular girl at school; more like the one that gets picked on.

Getting ready for school, I put on a pair of skinny jeans and a plain black t-shirt. I purposely dirtied a plate making it look like I ate. I also grabbed one of my pills and threw it down the sink. My parents are strict about me eating and taking meds. Both of them are at work so that makes it easier to get away with.

"They're going to be mad that you didn't take those," my brother said.

"I'll get you something if you keep your mouth shut" I replied.

"Fine but they'll find out sooner or later." he shrugged.

Heading out the door, I grabbed my bookbag and got on the bus. I sat up front like I normally do. One of the kids purposely hit me with their backpack on their way on. I rolled my eyes looking away.

It's a small town. One of many that was rebuilt. We have places to shop and eat. A big school for kids every age to attend. All the adults are friendly people. Their kids however, are mostly stuck up snobs.

The bus stopped five more times to pick up the kids before heading off to the school. I ignored the dirty looks and murmurs from passersby. I don't understand why they don't like me. I've been nice to all of them but I guess kids are just cruel.

"Alice you're back," Ruby said. "What happened yesterday."

"The usual monthly check up. I got blood drawn and have pills to take," I sighed. "I don't understand why."

"Well I got all of your work for you," she smiled.

"Thanks but you do know I don't have to do the work if I miss a day right?" I replied.

"The notes you need," she smirked.

We took the elevator up three stories to get to our class. I have history first and Ruby has biology. I sat in the back of the class and got my stuff out. The first two classes were a breeze for me. Biology however, is a bit harder.

This time I sat in the front of the class. One of the boys smiled as he sat next to me. I looked away quickly. I'm not that good at talking. Trinity walked up to me and slammed her hand on my table.

"You better look away," she sneered. "He's not yours for the taking."

"I'm not yours either Trinity," said the boy. There was murmuring in the background.

"Airhead," I muttered underneath my breath.

"What did you just say?" she snapped.

"I said... you're an airhead," I replied nonchalantly.

"Am not and you have no say. You're a loser and a nobody."

"And you are a bitch. Your point?"

She reared her fist back and punched me in the face. My glasses cracked and my nose started bleeding.

"It's funny you think anyone is going to side with you for anything or that they like you. You'll never be like me you low life," she pushed me back into my seat laughed.

I stood up and balled my fists. The room got dead silent, "I won't stoop down to your level because honestly it's sad that you have to act like an airhead for people to like you."

"Sit down Trinity, away from Alice." Mr. June said walking into class.

She stomped off. The boy sitting next to me handed me some tissues.
