" Hey, you seen Annabeth? " Percy asks Grover, his best friend.
" Yeah, but she walked right past me. She looked pretty steamed about something. She could be at the battle arena. She does that when she's angry, right? " Grover replied. Percy looked looked behind himself then said, " Yeah, she might be there. Thanks man! " He said, running off to the battle arena. " Annabeth, I swear to the gods, you better be there. " he ran to the battle arena and made it outside of it and hear a girl yelling as she fought. " HAH! " a girl screamed. " Yup. That's her. " He walked inside. " You really are beating the snot out of that mannequin, Wise Girl. " Annabeth laughed sarcastically. " Very funny, Seaweed brain. " she went back to hitting the dummy. " Ok, come on, what is it? " Percy asked. He wanted to know what was wrong with her. " My dad wanted me to come home to go camping. The thing is, I cant because I'm here, but he said this place didn't matter a lot and family matters most and I could talk Chiron into letting me go, but I said no again. So he said he'll cancel the trip all together and now he's annoyed with me. So, that's what's wrong. " she said, sounding a little better, maybe because she talked about it. " Listen, don't let a silly camping trip get you angry. It's Valentines day. you cant be sad when it's the day of Aphrodite. " Percy said. " Yeah, yeah, Alright. " Annabeth said dropping her sword and taking her helmet off and sighs and sits on a bench and Percy sits next to her. " Ok, now that you've calmed down, I can give you this. " He hands her a white rose and a box of chocolate covered strawberries. Annabeth takes them and sets them next to her. " Thank you, Percy. " She looks at him, and kisses him. Then a girl yells from the other side of the arena at the entrance, " BREAK IT UP LOVE BIRDS, ARENAS ARE FOR BATTLE! " Clarice yells. Two Aphrodite kids say " Aww! " and Annabeth stops and turns bright red. " Its Valentines day, Clarice. ITS ALOUD TODAY. " Percy says, defending Annabeth. " Yeah, okay. " Clarice says and laughs. " So, can I practice while you two have a love session? ' Clarice turns around and wraps her arms around herself and starts making kissing sounds then turns back around, laughing.
