Chapter Two - Amber

I've been in New York for 3 weeks now. It's been a few days since I last met up with Odell. However, we've been talking everyday since we met. It's actually been nice. Today we're gonna hang out before I catch my flight back home. I decided to wear black crop top & some denim jeans & a Burgundy long cardigan. I grabbed my Uggs that matched my sweater. I called again. This time, it rung once & then went to voicemail. Why is he rejecting my calls? I threw my phone on the bed & started packing all of my things. I got to leave at 6 tonight & Odell was supposed to be here at 3. It's almost 3:30pm. I shouldn't call again, because I would've gotten rejected again. I hopped on the bed & just laid there on my phone. Eventually, I had fallen asleep.

I woke up confused as hell. It was still light outside. I knew it wasn't that late. I grabbed my phone only to find that I had missed calls from Odell. I called back.
"Hello?"
"Hi. You called me?"
"Yeah, I was calling to tell you I was on the way to get you.
I looked at the bed side clock. It read 4:37.
"Oh shit. I didn't know it was that late."
"Do you still wanna go out?" He asked.
"I mean of course I do, but why didn't you answer earlier.. you know, when we were supposed to go." I said with my smart ass mouth.
"I was.. um.. handling some business with the team."
I rolled my eyes.
"You sure? You don't sound sure."
"I am. Seriously."
"Alright, well. I'm ready."
"I'm pulling up now."
"Mmk."
I hung up & rushed to the bathroom to make sure I looked good. I mean I was knocked out a few minutes ago. I grabbed my purse & my phone & headed out of my room. As I was walking down the hallway Bree was coming up the hallway.
"Hey sissy. You look cute." Bree stated.
"Thanks girl. You saw Odell down there?"
"I did indeed & he looked good, too."
I laughed. "I bet he does. Lemme hurry down there."
"Alright, have fun."
"I will & be ready to leave when we come back."

I hurried to the elevator. I was lucky it was someone already on it. I stopped the doors from closing & slid in the elevator. I finally got down there & met Odell at the door. "You ready to go?" He asked.
"Yeah, let's go."
He grabbed my hand & led me out to his car. When we got in, he stared at me for a while.

He nodded & looked down.
"So where do you wanna go?"
"You know what, Odell.. Can we just chill at your place?"
"Of course we can, babe."
We went to straight to his place. I don't even think he knows that I'm upset about him. A few minutes later, we pulled up to his house. It was actually nice from the outside. Odell came over to the passenger side & opened the door for me. He held my hand as I got out & he lead me inside. When I walked in, I was greeted by his dog Tzar. I bent down & petted him.
"You're good with dogs, I see."
"I have 4 dogs. They're puppies though."

"Let's go upstairs."

I started recording my 10 second video. Odell was searching for shirt in his dresser.

"Babe, we should go to sleep."

He slowly got up & put the leftover pizza in the refrigerator. I turned the TV off & headed upstairs. He followed behind me. We got to the room & I flopped in the bed. I snuggled up with Odell. He put his arm around me & my head laid on his chest. He kissed my forehead.
"Goodnight baby." He whispered to me.
"Goodnight Delly."
We both drifted off to sleep.
