"Before you start blaming the lake, this is all your fault."

He said it with that stupid smirk on his smug face as he was helping me get up.

"Who are you, how long have u been here and I was just struck by a thunder bolt! So don't say this is all my fault!"

I have never scream at anyone so loud before now, but my boiling temperature didn't scare him at all he just stood there laughing like I just told him the most funniest joke in the world. As I examine him more I noticed that his hair is dripping water but his clothes are completely dry.

"Did you come out of the lake ?"

He stops laughing and answers my questions.

"Yes and my name is Serine Siren and I have been here since you walked inside the cave sweetness."

He gave me a little smile that was warm and welcoming.

"My role here is the Guardian of the enchanted lake, to make sure that all who have seen and has been given advice from the lake see through it."

Great he is a Boy Scout type of guy, I should be able to get rid of him pretty easily.

"OK, whatever you say fish boy( he came out of the lake hair wet clothes dry, he is definitely a fish), I'm leaving this bewitching yet ridiculous place, heading to my bed and taking a long need rest, bye bye now"

As I walk backwards towards the exit, until I turn around and and bump into someone's chest. I look up and it's fish boy standing in my way.

"perfect I'm heading home with, whether you like it or not"

As he turns around and starts walking to my house.

I unlock the front door tiptoe inside not to wake up my mother, she would flip seeing me with a boy in her house; bye bye shopping spree. I stop him in his tracks and point to the couch. He gets the point and sleeps on my couch, I get to my room and sleep the rest of the night away.
Another day begins and to my surprise fish boy got really comfortable talking to my mother, he managed to make her laugh something that I have never seen in all my life. I kissed my mother a good morning kiss grabbed fish boy and ran outside of the house, still wearing what I wore from last night.

"What do I have to do to get my powers back and get rid of you"

As I paint holding my knees, catching my breath.

"Well for starters you can at least act nice to others instead of being a real big bully."

"Fine."

As we walk around town I look around spot one of the nerdiest girls I have ever seen, just to get some fun in my day trip her over my foot and she falls face first into a dirty puddle. Everyone around her starts to laugh including me, but fish boy moves through the crowd and heads to the nerdy girl crying her eyes out like a baby.

"Hey you ok ?"

As he helps her up by grabbing her arms in a cup hold position

"Yes I am, it's just that I'm very clumsy and I always trip over my own feet, thank you."

As she stands on her own two feet. Wipes her tears away with her granny pink sweatshirt.

"Well it wasn't your fault it was my friends fault, she trip you with her foot."

Fish boy and the nerd girl walk towards me and I begin stiffen up, my whole body can't move.

"who is she?"

As the nerd girl looks at fish boy and for once he doesn't have answer. His face is completely blank, maybe this wasn't so bad after all.

"My name is Parodox"

"Why did you trip me over, did I do something to offend you in anyway?"

She gives those cute puppy dog eyes behind those geek glasses, big for her own eyes. I begin to feel a sudden pain in my chest. I put my hand to my chest to somehow ease my pain, but I fail.

"What is your name ?"

"Rebecca Hermes"

"Well Rebecca be prepared for the best make over transformation of your live, my way of say sorry."

As I grab her shoulders and lead her towards the mall into Forever Young, Huntsman, and even more shopping stores. Finally I pick out an outfit that suits her nerdy personality just right. Rebecca is wearing a skater skirt, with black converse, white button up shirt with a cute little bow tie. Her hair is tied up in a high ponytail and she became the cutest little nerd there is.

"Oh my galaxy! I have never seen myself like this before! Are you sure this is alright to buy I mean look at the price for all of this."

"It's all on me, I felt bad for what I did so this my apologize to you."

I never thought I would be saying or doing anything like this before in a million years, but in truth it felt nice to make some happy instead of me.

As we left the mall and said goodbye to Beck, and yes I gave her a nickname, me and fish boy started to head home. When I looked up at him he had the stupid grin on his face again, and knowing him, he dying to say something about today I just know it.

"spill it! Go ahead and say what you want to say."

Crossing my arms over my chest and pouting

"You did a great job today."

He said it with a warming smile, and I begin to blush so hard that I can feel my cheeks heat up with embarrassment.

"But you haven't done enough to get back your powers yet."

There he goes and kills the mood. I mad dog him all the way home and still no effect. Oh well I guess I have to work harder to regain what was once mine. I guess this is my happily ever after for now anyways.
