A/N Hello everyone!! This is my first story! I obviously got this idea from a tumblr post ( props to them!). I know my writing isn't very good, but bear with me everyone! Ok enough rambling! I hope you enjoy my first story, Charms.
Everyone has one.
A charm. Mine is a triangle, or half of a triangle I must add. It turns a deep shade of purple a lot, showing I'm feeling rather stressed. I'm constantly worrying I'll never find them. I'll never find my soulmate. All of my friend's charms have turned pink at least once, mine hasn't.
What if they're on the other side of the world?
What if I never find them?
Will I die alone?
You must be wondering what pink means, it means you are within a mile radius of your soulmate, the being in which you will spend the rest of your life with. You are guaranteed to eternal happiness with them, or so I've been told.
It's a lot to take in, I know. I was surprised my self when my parents explained this throughly to me.
Enough about the charm. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ingrid Brown. I am 17 years old. I might never find my partner. Yet I have hope. I wonder sometimes if maybe they forgot to give the other half to someone. Perhaps they did, what would I do? I might visit the hospital in which I was born and ask them to be sure. Yes I will do that as soon as day breaks. It's currently midnight. It's getting late.
My charm is turning grey which means I'm tired. So I suppose I shall drift to sleep now, goodnight. Then I drifted to sleep after my short ramble.
A/N : That's all I could think of for now! I will write chapter 2 soon, and it won't be as short!
