It was a tiring day but it finally had reached the end-Friday night. You came home, threw on your comfiest clothes and lit some candles just for your own pleasure.
After settling down and finding something on Netflix to watch, you hear your front door creak open.
It was dark but even you could see the glistening eyes of Brian.
You giggled, "What, Q?"
"Look what I got for my baby!" He then burst excitedly all the way through the door to present a pizza from your favorite joint.
"No way!" You jumped up slightly from your seat smiling hard.
"No no! Calm down, you relax. I'll get the things for our fancy dinner for two."
You felt so loved, like royalty.
He shuffled quickly through the kitchen, fetching paper plates and napkins. He set the pizza box, the plates, drinks, and napkins on the floor with a blanket and went back to the kitchen. He returned with a vanilla candle and placed it on the center of the blanket.
It was like a cozy picnic, yet you still felt like you were being treated to something gourmet. You both sit on the blanket and get comfortable, enjoying the food and everything that was happening. When you both have eaten to your hearts content, you couldn't help but smirk at him cheekily.
"Thank you, sir. You always know what I love", you leaned in slowly to kiss his cheek.
"I just love you so much, you're all I need and I want to make you happy.",
He whispered to you in his gentle but raspy voice.
Suddenly the background noise from the tv was a blur and all you could feel and see in this world was Brian. You pressed your body against his and kissed him deeply on the lips.
He couldn't help but gaze at you longingly as your lips parted.
"I love you too, Brian."
His large hand was strong and warm but it was so gentle against yours. It was all you wanted to feel.
