Chapter 1

Melody's POV:

I looked up, down, left, right. Everywhere in Danfield was green. I was a city girl growing up but I had never seen so much green and blue in my life. I was proud of myself.

Soon you'll be settled in with a lover.
Hehe...

I laughed at the thought of being I a relationship.

I took my first step on campus and walked into the main hall where new students were being introduced. I walked around, eyeing the architecture engraved in the ceiling above me.

Beautiful.

A hard knock on my head brought me back to reality.
"Watch where you're going, no-brainer..."
He had a toned jaw line and light brown skin. He looked Indian or Pakistani. I shrugged at him before I got a chance to realize that he was trying to act tough.

What a loser...
But he is attractive...

"Same for you," I quickly replied, only to be treated by a scowl.

Ugh.

I had been there for an hour and I was ready to go to my first class. I went around through the front and towards the next tall building. It seemed dark... I didn't see the creature lurking in the space between the two buildings until after I had been tackled by it. It was a boy! He had long blonde hair that looked dirty.
"Hey, there, little thang. Aren't you gorgeous?" His breath was disgusting.

I didn't answer so he skipped the talking. A hand went down my pants and pulled at my panties.
"Like that?" he questioned me.

What is this?! Am I supposed to like it?

To be honest, it felt like a piece of paper rubbing against my thighs.
I kicked at him but it didn't do anything.
I gasped. Someone had see me and him.

The guy touching me suddenly halted and fell backwards. A dark silhouette was behind him.

"You...," I managed to talk.
