The boy stood in front of me, arms crossed and slightly glaring. "I don't take kindly to traitors, Scarlett." He hovered a bit off the ground. His menacing glare holding me captive.

"I'm no traitor Peter." I sneered. "It's not called being a traitor when you help someone in need. Its called being a human." In a flash his small blade found its way to my side.

"Traitor! Scarlett is a traitor for aiding a Indian!" He taunted me over and over. His small dagger jabbing into me and slicing me apart easily, as if my skin were made of butter. I kept the pain to myself and took every blow until it was to much to bare and I fell to a crumpled heap in the dirt below. "Scarlet is a traitor." He whispered softly in my ear. A small tear rolled down my dirtied cheek and then the darkness consumed me.

I awoke to the sounds of waves. They rose and crashed making a rather loud and annoying sound. The smell of salt water and stale air filled my nose. I rolled over and my eyes closed tighter, I waited for the hard impact but none came. I lay on my side frozen for a moment before slowly opening an eye. My eye was greeted with a sea of red silk. I was on a bed? A real bed? Was I back home? Impossible.

I slowly sat up, and a sharp pain ripped through my body forcing me to lay back down. "You shouldn't do that.." My head snapped to a corner of the room. A man, well he only had a few years on me, stood in the darkness. His arms were crossed round his chest and he stared at me with such an intense gaze I found myself looking away quickly. "You'll rip open the stitches I worked so hard on." Arrogance rippled through his voice making me snort. "Do you have a problem with my work?" He stepped from the shadows and I found myself compelled to look back up at this mysterious man.

"W-Well clearly they aren't done well if a simple movement can rip them open..." I muttered softly under my breath. A small smile stretched across his face but quickly disappeared.

"They're done just fine, in fact you should be thanking me for saving your life." He uncrossed his arms and made his way to a chair next to the bed. "If I hadn't found you when I did, well.." He glanced me up, "You most defiantly would not be laying on my bed and talking to me, now would you?" He did have a point that I couldn't deny.

I scoffed slightly and avoided looking
at him. "Exactly." He smirked, making it clear that he won the argument.

"Who even are you? I've never seen someone as ugly as you around here before." I sassily snapped back. His brow furrowed and he knitted his hands together.

"My name is Hook, James Hook. Or rather Captain James Hook. A name I'm sure you're familiar with because of your association with the blasted Pan." He growled the last part out, his hands clenching each other so hard that they started to turn white.
I tensed slightly and with a hasty reply denied my association with anyone with the name of Pan to which he laughed dryly and pointed at my bandaged side. "Those cuts on your body say otherwise girl. I know that kinda wound when I see one because I have the same one of my own." He tilted his head to the side to reveal a thin scar on his neck. "But I am rather curious to know why and how you know the Boy Who Never Grows Up... The only girl he ever keeps 'round is Tiger Lily." His voice softened as he spoke the Indian Princess' name.

"You like her don't you!" I cried and a wide smile spread across my face. His face instantly grew cold and I was once again under his intense gaze.

"I have no idea where you are getting such foolish ideas but I am captain of this ship and so I and only I will be doing any sort of questioning." He seethed and stood so abruptly that he knocked over his chair.

I was about to make a witty response when a soft knock at the door plunged the two of us into silence.
