(Zodiac reports.com)The zodiac was believed to be responsible for least five murders in vallio San Francisco. In july4, 1969 2 teenagers Darlene Ferric and Mike Mike mega were shot near a golf course. The Darlene was killed and mike survived the zodiac then the san Francisco examiner received hand written letter with details about the murders to try to prove that he kill them he also sent a page of symbols and told them to print on the front of the news paper like puzzle game no one has ever been arrested even to this day no one was has been found guilty for the crimes. The zodiac also killed 2 teens at Lake Herman December 20, 1968 police said that he tied them up before brutally stabbing them the boy lived but the girl died. Zodiac was believed to call 911 and report the murder and telling them that he was the one who killed him.

(Police reports.com) The zodiac also called a TV program looking for help from the host. The zodiac agreed to meet him alone but he didn't show up. The police traced the call to a nearby nut house Two weeks later, on October 11, 1969, the Zodiac claimed another life, shooting 29-year-old taxi driver Paul Stine in San Francisco's Presidio Heights neighborhood. As the murder did not seem to fit the Zodiac's pattern, it was initially deemed a robbery, but three days later a letter received by theSan Francisco Chronicle proved otherwise. Written in the same way as all the author letters, it gave the details of Stine's murder and was accompanied by a bloody scrap of Stine's shirt. At the end of the letter, the killer stated his intention to murder a school bus full of children.

(Police reports.com) Then, in 1974, the letters stopped. The investigation, however, has not, and in the nearly five decades since the Faraday-Jensen murders, the inability to identify the Zodiac Killer has continued to frustrate law enforcement. At least five other murders have been tentatively linked to the Zodiac, including the 1963 shooting of Robert Domingos and Linda Edwards near Santa Barbara, California, and the 1966 stabbing death of college student Cheri Jo Bates in Riverside, California. However, in both these and the known Zodiac murders, no suspect has ever been arrested one of their favorite suspect was

(Avery pg.1) Cab driver , age 29, was shot once in the head at point-blank range. The weapon was a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, not the same 9mm used in the Furring murder. There were three witnesses from a house on the southeast corner of the intersection. Stine's cab was hailed at Mason and Geary Streets, with the intended destination being Washington and Maple Streets near the Presidio. For reasons unknown, the cab ended up at Washington and Cherry Streets, a block away from the original destination. Stine's wallet and keys were taken and a was carefully torn off. Bloody , potentially of the suspect, were recovered from the vehicle. According to a police document, a pair of men's Size Seven black-leather gloves was also found. The three witnesses watched the suspect from approximately 60 feet away as he wiped down the cab with a cloth after . They called the police and described a white male, 25 to 30 years old, and 5'8" to 5'9", stocky build, and reddish-brown hair worn in a crew cut, heavy-rimmed glasses and dark clothing. They last saw him casually walking north on Cherry Street.

(Avery pg.2) Robert Domingo's, was 18 he, was shot 11 times. His friend Linda Edwards, 17, shot nine times. The weapon was a .22 caliber semi-automatic, probably a rifle. The ammunition was Winchester Western Super X copper-coated long rifle. There was no indication of robbery or sexual molestation. There were no witnesses. Due to the remote location of the , the bodies weren't found until the following evening.

(Gray smith pg.1) The people were students at nearby Lompoc High School and were participating in "Senior Ditch Day," a local tradition among students close to graduation. Instead of celebrating with classmates at another location, however, Domingo's and Edwards chose to be alone at an isolated stretch of . Apparently the killer while they were sunbathing. As Edwards was forced to bind Domingo's at gunpoint with lengths of narrow rope both victims tried to and were shot numerous times. The circumstances of the shooting suggested the killer had some level of expertise with firearms. The bodies were dragged 30 feet to an occasionally occupied by transients. Edwards was placed face up on top of Domingo's and the top of her bathing suit was cut open with a sharp instrument probably a knife), exposing her breasts. The killer then tried to set fire to the shack with wooden matches, to no avail.

Lass, age 25, worked as a nurse at the Sahara. Her last entry in the nurse's log book was at 1:50 a.m., and although her car was found parked at her apartment complex in nearby Stateline, she wasn't seen after leaving the Sahara. The next day, an unknown male called her landlord and employer, stating Lass wouldn't be returning due to a family emergency. The call was a hoax, and there has been no trace of Lass ever since.

Nothing solid connects Lass to the Zodiac case, other than perhaps the fact that she was living just a few blocks from the scene of Zodiac's Oct. 11, 1969 murder of Paul Stine in San Francisco. A , supposedly from Zodiac, was received by the San Francisco Chronicle on March 22, 1971, with the implication that Lass was a murder victim. However, the postcard contained no proof, as Zodiac was known for including. In 1999 a retired detective revealed to me that a former Zodiac investigator had admitted to forging the Lass postcard.

The facts indicate Lass was abducted after arriving at her apartment, which is behavior Zodiac never demonstrated. Even if Zodiac was responsible for the Lass postcard, it still is not proof that he abducted her.

The zodiac murders still have not been solved and is one of the famous killers today.
