I closed my locker, school was finally over and I walked home with my older brother, Weston.
"Hi, Marcella." Weston said. I said hi back and we started to walk in silence.
"So how was school?" I finally said breaking the silence.
"It was fine, except Mary broke up with me." He started to sob and gave me a hug. I couldn't believe they had been dating for over a year now and she decided to end it.
"Why?" I asked. He looked me in the eye and i instantly knew why. It was Mark. Mark had taken his girl. He could not stand Mark. Mark had been hitting on Mary since they got together. I knew that deep down inside Weston was hurting alot, he just was afraid to show it.
"Well maybe it's for the better because we are moving to Arizona tomorrow anyway." I said and he nodded. I was kind of glad we were moving to Arizona I was getting tired of North Carolina. As we arrived home I walked up stairs and I could hear Weston screaming to someone, probably my mom, saying that he wasn't going to go with us. Then I heard a door slam and saw him run.
