There's nothing worse than having only one rule to follow.
Many believe the more rules you have, the more restrictions. While that is true. you at least know if you ever broke a rule, you would have the others to fall back on to acknowledge you didn't break all the rules. Flawed logic, I know, but for me it's a somewhat comforting thought.
That brings me to my earlier statement. Its torture having only one rule to follow.
How? you may ask. Most see this as an easy task. What's one rule if it means you have freedom?
For me, everything. It doesn't help that the rule tries to stop my curiosity. The rule always felt like those random itches on my back, the ones that I can never seem to reach, cause my arm refuse to bend properly. I know there must be someway to satisfy the itch, find a loophole for the dumb rule, but until that day it would just taunt me, like that feeling you get whenever you're in a boring lesson in class and the clock hands look like they refuse to move.
What was the rule?
