Syvyl's POV
Do you ever feel that life was being cruel on you? Well that's my life right now because of SCHOOL, FREAKING SCHOOL IT'S SUCH A PAIN IN THE BUTT UGHH! I hate it! Why do we even need to study? Oh God! F*ck this sh*t, f*ck this, f*ck everything!!! All these projects, exams, and everything is stressing me out! I mean, I barely get enough sleep because of these and we have to wake up early to go to school.

Although each one of us may have problems in life, and no matter how hard we fall, we need to learn to stand up and get back on our feet and move on. Being resilient is a must, because no matter how much pain we go through, we still have someone or something to hold on to.

Oh yeah! I'm Syvyl Acosta and this is my life story.

God school sucks, I literally am not listening, just pretending and nodding my head when the teacher looks in my direction. I look at my bestfriend Thomas, Thomas Sangster. He's the best, I've known him for such a long time now, he's my childhood friend actually. He was the type of person to always be there for you, no matter what happens, he's there. I love him, as a friend of course, I could never imagine us being together. The funny thing is many people actually thought we are a couple, I know... Awkward much. He is my bestfriend after all, it would be weird to be with him, some people say that falling in love with someone you know is better than falling in love with a stranger. Well for me it is better 'cause you already know the person, but you know whatever...

Thomas' POV
At the corner of my eyes I saw Syvyl staring at me, I turned my head to look at her and there she was staring at me in an endearing way. She was really focused on staring at me, and it's making me feel a little uncomfortable but you know what? To be honest, I love Syvyl, but not as a friend, I want more than that, but the sad thing is, she would never look at me besides as a friend.

She would always refer to me as her "buddy" or "bro" kind and it hurts you know, and she doesn't know... Yet. I'm actually afraid that someday she would just find out and our relationship would just crumble quickly. I also fear the thought of rejection that's why I'm such a wuss to admit my feelings for her, but that doesn't stop me to think that I still have a chance to have her, but that's just my world in my imagination, now I need to man up and face reality. Life is really a b*tch.

"Why are you looking at me?", I said my British accent being recognizable. I keep on snapping my fingers infront of her face to knock her off of her daze. "Syvyl!" I yelled whispered. "Huh? What??". "You were spacing out and looking at me intently, Why? What are you thinking?", I said. "Oh nothing, and I wasn't staring at you, Uhh.. Uh- I was staring at the air particles in front of you... just kidding uhmmm, I was just thinking of things... And you", she said grinning. "Huh?? wh- what?" I blushed, bloody hell, I think she just saw me blush, I tried to keep a steady somewhat poker face but inside I'm blasting with happiness, hoity toitying.. Heck is that even a word?! Welp, who cares.. She just said she's thinking of me!!! Yasss bishes!!!

"Why were you thinking of me?I asked casually and with my best face of curiosity. "I was just thinking that you are probably the bestest friend anyone could have, I'm really happy that I met you", she says. "Well sh*t", I said in my own thoughts.. Jeez and I thought nothing could ruin this moment.. Welp friendzoned it is, even though I haven't opened up to her. "Oh oka-", I was interrupted by a booming voice. "Would you like to share something to the whole class Ms. Acosta and Mr. Sangster?" Mr. Richardson says "No Sir" we both said in unison. "Then please pay attention", sheesh... And just then some of our classmates looked at us and started giggling. "QUIET!" Mr. Richardson says "God, this man needs to take a f*cking chill pill" I said under my breath, huh that's weird why were they giggling? I said in my own thoughts.
