Tessa ran through the forest. The leaves blowing up around her feet, the dust billowing in her face, the wind wipping in her face. She loved it. She slowed down at the old tree stump that marked the halfway point between charted forest and uncharted. If she went any farther she would be lost in the forest. Tessa stopped but against her better judgement kept walking forward toward the deep dark jungle. Soon she grew deep into the forest and came to a stop by an old tree of some kind. She looked around and she slowly came to realize that she did not know where she was. It was getting dark and she knew that at night the Tigers would come and they would not have mercy on her if they found her. She looked up into the tree she was standing next to and looked at the branches. Tessa needed a way home and if climbing a tree could point her in that direction then she would do it.
