"Miss Lustre!" sigaw ng teacher niya nang makitang mahimbing ang pagkakatulog ng dalaga sa gitna ng klase.
"Uhm..."
"Part, wake up!" It was Reid trying to wake Lustre up since they are seatmates. 'This human really knows how to get herself into trouble' said Reid at the back of his mind.
'Shit!" she uttered when she's finally back to her senses. The whole class is looking at her in disbelief. "Uhh. Miss Santillan, sorry po. Hindi ko po namalayan na nakatulog pala ako." Sabi ni Lustre. But she knows hindi tumatanggap ng ganoong excuse yung professor niya. Kaya napa-facepalm na lamang siya and waited for Miss Santillan's speech.
"You know the rules, Miss Lustre. Now!" said her professor, half disappointed. Lustre is one of her top students but this act is not tolerable, rules are rules.
Before Lustre leaves the room... "You have a lot of explaining to do, Part. Don't do something stupid outside and wait for me." Sabi ni Reid, whispering or else he'll be punished too, kung maririnig siya ni Miss Santillan.

"I'm working on my piece kasi all night, I have this courage to finish it yesterday night kaya napuyat ako." Pagdadahilan ni Lustre.
By the look of Reid's face, he is not convinced. He even raised his eyebrow to Lustre. "Fine! Sorry na. Alam ko na after we said our goodnights kagabi eh matutulog na dapat ako, kaso biglang nawala talaga 'yung antok ko. Kaya naghanap ako ng pagkakalibangan hanggang sa naisip kong gumawa ng one shot, hindi ko namalayan anong oras na pala ako natapos. Sorry na." dire-diretchong sambit ni Lustre kaya with that alam na ni Reid ang gagawin, he handed her a glass of water. Natawa na lang si Reid sa kabaliwan ng kaibigan.

"Yes." Sagot ni Reid. And that make Lustre smile saying 'huh! My charms are so effective' at the back of her mind. "But please, if you'll have a difficulty in sleeping, let me know. We have the same sched so I guess, me being tired is equivalent to you being tired too, might as well share the same sentiments with me, right? And don't think it'll be hassle on someone's end. Huh, Part?" and this time, it was Lustre's turn to give a glass of water to Reid after his speech.
With that, they both know everything is settled. The argument that they have pops like a bubble in the air already. And they started laughing at each other. "Tara na nga sa room, baka ma-late pa tayo. Sisihin mo pa ako." said Lustre habang hinihila si Reid patayo ng upuan.
And they day went on and on.
