Chapter 1

- Luna's pov -

I woke up to my mom shouting to me. "We are leaving!!" My dad, mom and sister walked out the door. They where going to Disneyland. I was too sick to go. I got out of bed and walked downstairs. I made myself some breakfast and sat on the couch and watched tv.

While I was washing the dishes someone knocked on the door. I opened it and there stood none other than One Direction. "Can I help you guys?" "Yes, we are trying to hide from a group of fans who are trying to drag us away so do you mind if we come in?" Liam explained. "Not at all." I gestured them to come inside.

"Thank you so much." Zayn said as I closed the door. "No problem. Do you guys want anything to eat or drink?" "No thank you." Louis said. I walked over to the living room and sat on the couch. The boys followed me. "So where are your parents?" Harry asked. 

"They went to Disneyland with my sister. I decided not to go because I am currently sick." "I'm sorry to hear that love." "I will be right back." I got up and went into the kitchen to go make me some tea. I came back and sat on the couch. "So what is your name?" Harry asked. "It's Luna." "Lovely name." He replied. "Thank you."

My phone started ringing upstairs. I went upstairs to go answer it. "Hey mom how's it going?" "I love you baby. I am going to miss you so much. We all are." "Wait. What is happening. What's going on mom you are scaring me." Suddenly I heard three gunshots fire and my mum hung up. 

"Mom!!! Oh my god!!!" When I finally realized what had happened I buried my face in my pillows and cried. I heard footsteps come towards. More like five of them. Someone rubbed my back. "Are you okay? What happened?" "I just heard my family get shot over the phone."

"Love. I am so sorry." I leaned up and Harry embraced me in a hug. "I have nobody who would take me either. My family hates me." I started to fall asleep in Harry's arms. He put me in bed and kissed my forehead. "Goodnight love." They all left my room and I fell asleep.

- Harry's pov -

Luna was falling asleep on me so I put her to bed. We all quietly walked out of her room. "Lads, I feel so bad for her. First we come in, then she listens to her family getting shot." Niall said. "She is going to have to go to an orphanage." Liam added.

"Not if we do something about it." I protested. "What could we possibly do to help her?" Zayn asked. "Wait. Your not thinking about adopting her. Are you?" Louis asked. I nodded. "We've barely gotten to know her and you want to adopt her?!" Liam shouted.

"Shhh!!!" Niall put his hand over Liam's mouth. "Lets go downstairs and discus this." Louis suggested. Before we went downstairs we made sure Luna was still asleep. She was. We went downstairs. "we have to at least get to know her first before we just go up to her and say we are adopting her." Liam continued.

"Okay. Tomorrow we can hang out with her and get to know her. How about that?" I asked them. They all agreed to my idea. We all ended up sleeping in the living room. I woke up before the boys did. I went upstairs to go check on Luna.

She was dressed and doing her hair. She noticed me in her mirror. "Hey." "Are you going somewhere?" "Yah. Last day of school. I should be back at 2:30." "Okay. I will let the boys know when they get up." She put her brush down, picked up her backpack and walked downstairs into the kitchen. 

I followed her. "Feel free to take whatever you want for the kitchen." She said to me ask she grabbed a banana. "Thanks." "Bye Harry." "Bye." She grabbed a key from the counter and left. She locked the door. 

- Luna's pov -

I got to school and got rushed by my two best friends. "Hey what's up?" Charlize asked. "Nothing much. Did you guys get my text?" "Yes. I am so sorry." Jacelyn hugged me. "Lets just get the day over with." I said trying not to cry like an idiot.
