Chapter 1

* BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP *

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, i hit snooze and looked at the time

6:15 AM

i groaned but then i realized IT WAS THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER BREAK.

I sat up and deleted all the alarms i set for school then i layed back in my bed

I drifted off to sleep again till a few hours later someone was shaking me

" Come on get up Skylar, Skylar wake up!, Skylar come on"

I groaned and ignored whoever was shaking me

" Fine if you won't get up, i have no choice but to do this" they said

They ripped off my covers and started tickling me

"  HAHAHAHA OH M- HAHA STOOOPPP HAHAHA OKAY OKAY I'M UP"

I sat up on my bed and there stood Cody Simpson in my room

" I didn't lock my balcony door did i? " i said

 He smirked " haha nope, you said you wouldn't "

Cody and I have been friends for a few years now and we're pretty close. I trust him with everything and my family is close with his family.

"Is there a reason why you woke me up from my beauty sleep?" i asked laughing lightly

" You're already beautiful though" Cody said

" But yeah there is a important reason....... I'M BORED"  he added

" Fine, i'll get up. just let me get ready first" i said

I got some clothes and went to the washroom and got ready. I put on a teal tank top and white shorts. i applyed some waterproof mascara, face powder and lip balm. then i brused my teeth and i was ready.I came back to my room 

" Can we do something now?" cody said

" Sure" i said

we went downstairs and i found my mom in the kitchen

" Mom, is it okay if i stay out with Cody for a few hours? " i asked grabbing a granola bar and eating it

" Sure honey, have fun. Just take your keys because  me and your Dad might be heading out and remember Brandon isn't here"  she said

*** Brandon is my older brother he's 17 so he's only 2 years older then me and he's pretty close with Cody. The only reason why he isn't here right now is because he got good grades on his last report card so he got to go to Toronto with his best friends for summer vacation. He's coming back some time in August**

"Okay thanks mom love you" i said grabbing my keys and putting them in my bag

" Love you too! Bye Cody, take care of her"

" I will, Bye Mrs.Thompson"

I slipped on my black toms and Cody and I headed out the door

" So what do you want to do now Simpson?" i asked

" I don't know, we can just walk around"  he answered 

" Sure" i said

We walked around and talked for a few hours till he said

" Let's go back to my house."

i nodded and we walked back

We went back to his house but before he opened the door
