Chapter 8

*sorry I haven't updated... I've been super busy but ill be here more regularly hopefully :) thanks for all the reads y'all!*

Nates p.o.v

Are my eyes deceiving me? Is this a trick? Whatever, I'll take the chance.

I grab Bella's arm and tug her in, quietly shutting the door and lying the gun down on the table.

Jack was in the same position I was in before Bella came to my rescue. His eyes lit up as I unwrapped the tape from his mouth.

"Nate! How the hell did you get out? Where's Andrew? Who's she?" He whispered excitedly as I looked for scissors.

"Chill with the questions! This is Bella and she helped me, I don't know where Andrew is..." I said, freeing his hands.

Before I could even bend down to cut his ankles I felt his muscular arms wrap around my neck and pull me down into a hug, suffocating me. "Jack! Ok, man!" I laughed as he let go.

I cut his ankles free and he stood up, stretching. He went to ask a question, but was interrupted by my sneezing. "Nate! Shh!" Jack said. "Do you think I did it on purpose? I have allergies, dumb ass!" I retaliated.

"Guys! There are more important things to worry about!" Bella exclaimed. "Yeah, like nates smashed-up nose! Dude what happened?" He said laughing, going to touch my broken nose. I swatted his hand away, "nothing... Lets go." I said, picking up the gun, opening the door and checking the hallway.

We walked out, unaware of the man down the hall. "Hey!!" He screamed, pointing his gun at us. He said something into his walkie-talkie before giving chase to us. "All men to second floor, they have escaped. Nate and jack and a girl, kill the girl, capture the guys. Move!" Mark's voice boomed over the loud speaker.

"Bella! What do we do?" Jack yelled, running up to us. "Just follow me..." She said calmly. "Nate, goddammit! Use the gun!" She said.

I turned around and ran backwards, pointing the gun at the now 4 men chasing us. "Ugh! I can't do it!" I said, out of breath, turning back around.

"I just hope you have a plan, Bella..."
