It was a warm mid August day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping. Then the ear-splitting shriek if the sirens wailed. There was no time to run to the bomb shelter. All of the sudden the air was filled with heat and ash.

I awake from my nightmare with a scream. Doctor Ben , my fiancé, sat up in bed next to me. Then asked " Same nightmare, " he asked in his deep voice .
"Yes I just can't seem to get the images out of my head. It just still feels so real, " I told Ben. I sit up to find that Ben had gotten up and was rummaging through his bags. Ben had just moved in a few weeks ago we haven't had time to unpack.
"Ben please no, no Drug Out tonight," I begged him. Drug Out is a herb that puts you to sleep and makes you forget, for awhile.
"Paige, if it's the flavor I'll get a different flavor tomorrow an-" I cut him off.
"It's not the flavor Ben, it - it changes me. I can feel it when I take it Ben, it scares me." I'm in sibs at this point and he has to give me Drug Out. But before he knocks me out he gives me a huge hug and says, "I love you, my Paige I will always love you no matter what.
