Life Without You

Prologue

There he stood.  Perfect. That is the only way to describe him.  His ocean blue eyes sparkled reflecting the water.  His perfectly toned abs and beautiful smile were facing me.

"Darcy, come in the water!" My very hot boyfriend, Spencer, yelled.

"Just a second, babe!" I yelled back.

"No! Come now! I'm going to miss you and it's getting cold in here!" He yelled again. 

"Alright, alright. I'm coming!" I flew down the sand into the water and flung into his arms.  "I love you so much." I said in a soft voice so I didn't bring attention to myself, after all there is a lot of other people at this beach.  

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself!  You know, my amazing boyfriend is the only thing on my mind these days.  Anyways, I'm Darcy Smith.  I am here at this beach with my boyfriend, Spencer Clyde.  Yes, I know he doesn't have the best last name in the whole world, but at least it isn't like Shnotzenburger or something like that.  So yeah, I have a pretty damn good life.  I have a great boyfriend, I'm considered one of the popular kids in school, I get good grades, and life at home is pretty good too.  

At my house I have my mom, my dad, and my little brother, Gabe.  Gabe is 3 years younger than me, so he is 15 years old and is a sophomore at Sacred Heart High School.  I am 18 years old and a freshman at Stanford.  My family lives in San Francisco, California.  Spencer and I spend each break visiting them, since Spencer's family also lives in San Francisco and is friends with my parents.   

I have been dating Spencer since seventh grade.  This weekend is our seventh year dating and because that is the grade that we were in when we started dating, we decided to do something special this fall break instead of going to our parents' house like we always do.  We packed our bags and went up to Miami, Florida to celebrate our fall break.  We are going to go to a Miami Dolphins football game tomorrow, but right now we are at Miami Beach.  This is probably all making sense to you now.  So yeah, this is my life pretty great right? Let's just hope, someone doesn't get eaten by a shark or something.  That would be bad!

Yayyyy! First chapter is done!  I know this is kind of slow but it is only the first chapter, so you are just getting to know everyone.  I promise, the next chapter will be way more interesting.  Also, I know that Darcy is bragging a lot about how her life is so perfect and how she has the perfect boyfriend and everything, but trust me, there is a point to this. So, keep reading to find out why she is bragging like this!
