I woke up to the sun shining through the curtains onto my face. I rolled over and groaned as I realised what today was, the first day at my new school. My secluded personality made it hard to make friends at my old school and now I had to start all over again. It was my mums idea to move to Cheshire. I was comfortable in Sheffield, I'd lived there my whole life and I wasn't necessarily happy there but it was still my home. But now I was in a new town, a new house and a new school and the idea of starting my whole life over again was terrifying to me. My life had always been pretty normal. Apart from a few obstacles like last year when my mum had cancer everything was okay. Relationships always came easy to me, I never seemed to run out of options when it came to boys. That was until I met my last boyfriend Dylan, he was the most perfect boy I had ever met and I fell for him almost straightaway. He cheated on me of course, I should've seen it coming. A boy like that had girls all over him, he would never stick to one, especially someone like me. It took me months to get over him and the pain his betrayal caused me lead me into depression. That's why my mum wanted to move here, a fresh start she said, to meet people who could make me happy again.
