Mark sighed as he sat down on the edge of his bed. He looked over to his wardrobe where the suit he was supposed to change in to was hanging on the door. The dinner had just ended (an awkward experience), and the ball was to begin soon. Mark contemplated just staying in his room, but someone would surely notice he wasn't there and he didn't want to cause a panic. He stood up, walked over to his wardrobe, and took the suit down. He scowled at it. It was uncomfortable, not particularly nice to look at, and it made him look short. But he again reminded himself that royal duties came first. He began undressing, thinking about... Well, things. He was now 27, surely it was time he found someone to rule the kingdom with him? At least, that's what Mr. Muyskens and Mr. Barnes thought. But, to be frank, it all felt like to much effort. Every eligible high-up lady they had shown Mark had done nothing to disappoint. They were all beautiful, certainly, but non of them had any personality to speak of. Each one of them was completely materialistic and about as interesting as a cardboard box.

Mark sighed again, buttoning up his shirt and pulling on the jacket. He looked himself up and down in his mirror. He looked like a prince, and that was the exact opposite of how he wanted to look. "Oh well," he thought. "If It's a prince they want, It's a prince they'll get."
