I shrugged it off and just went to Goldies room to give ruby 'a little company'. After awhile of ruby doing her homework in silence she got up and left, she went upstairs and I was behind her. Even though she and nobody else knew. She walked into the kitchen and mica saw her,"*gasp!* A new friend!" Mica cheered and hugged ruby,"Uh, hi." Ruby giggled,"Hi, I'm mica!" Mica smiled,"I'm ruby." Ruby replied,"Well ruby, we're going to be great friends! But I'm not sharing my pizza with you yet.." mica growled,"That's fine, I'm not hungry anyway. I just came up here for a drink." Ruby smiled,"Okay!" Mica smiled back and passed her a drink,"Thanks." Ruby said calmly,"No problem!" Mica cheered, ruby drank it and returned to her work. After a bit Goldie walked in, he told ruby it was time to eat. Ruby walked upstairs with him, this place doesn't seem too bad without me. Goldie introduced ruby to everyone, but he didn't say everyones name. Mari was still not here, I went over to his room to look for him, Mari was in there. He was playing with a music box, foxy walked in,"Ahoy, matey!" Foxy smiled,"What do you want, foxy?" Mari asked,"There's someone here, and Ol' foxy want ye to meet 'em!" Foxy answered,"I'm not interested with meeting new people, so no." Mari replied, what's up with him in this time line? Foxy took the music box from Mari,"Hey! Give it back!" Mari hissed,"Ye want it? Come 'n get it." Foxy smirked and ran out of his room,"Foxy!" Mari yelled and ran after him, foxy ran into the kitchen with Mari behind him. Goldie grabbed both of them, making them stop running,"What are you two doing?" Goldie hissed,"Foxy took my music box!" Mari glared at foxy,"Only to get ye out of yer room!" Foxy glared back,"Give it back, foxy." Goldie ordered,"Fine.." foxy mumbled and handed Mari the music box, Mari ripped it out of his hands,"Ye didn't need to be mean about it..." foxy mumbled,"Both of you need to stop messing around." Goldie scoffed,"I'm not! It was foxy!" Mari hissed,"Ol' foxy only got ye out of yer room!" Foxy hissed back,"Yeah, by stealing my music box!" Mari snapped, ruby giggled,"What's so funny?" Foxy asked her,"Sorry for laughing, it's just it's kinda funny that you're fighting over a music box." Ruby smiled shyly, Mari looked down and said nothing,"Heh, yeah, Mari loves that ol' thing." Foxy chuckled, Goldie put the two of them down seeing they calmed down. Mari tried to sneak away but Goldie grabbed the back of his shirt collar,"Where do you think you're going? You're not just going to leave, especially after the show you put on." Goldie pointed out, Mari looked down at the ground. But he gave in and sat down at the table,"And Mari, this is ruby." Goldie pointed to ruby,"Hi, mari." Ruby smiled and waved at Mari, he stayed quiet and looked away from her, bunny elbowed him,"Dude, atleast wave back." Bunny whispered to him, Mari rolled his eyes and waved back at ruby.
After they ate Mari disappeared into his room again,"What's up with him?" Ruby asked,"He always chickens out when he sees new people, and he just shuts up intill they leave or when he gets away from them." Mia shrugged,"Oh... Anyway, I still have to finish my homework." ruby said calmly and got up to leave,"What? But it's Sunday! School work is for school not weekends." Bunzy pointed out,"Funny, but it's due tomorrow. So..." Ruby replied and left,"You don't have to be a smart ass, you know." Goldie huffed,"I wasn't!" Bunzy whined, I ignored them and followed ruby back to goldies room. She noticed all her stuff put back in her bag, she dug through it and realised her work was still on the desk. She looked annoyed and sat at the desk and began to work again, I guess she didn't like me putting her stuff back. I thought it would clear up the desk a little... But I guess I was wrong. Ruby started to get back to work and ignored all her stuff randomly getting put into her bag, after a while it got late at and ruby finished her work and went to bed.
Goldie walked in after a bit to find a sleeping ruby, he rolled his eyes and chuckled. He quietly got into bed next to her and fell asleep as well, goldie seems so weird and different here...
I left and went to Maris room, he was sleeping as well. I seen his music box on his night stand, it was broken. Since when did it brake? I took it and walked away with it, I fixed it up and tested it, the melody tone was off. I quietly fixed that as well, while giving it a new paint layer I found out it had a hiden slot inside, inside was a slightly blood stained razor. Wait, is Mari?... I teared up and covered my mouth so I wouldn't make a sound on accident. I didn't know he... He's not like this in my time line! And... I can't do anything, or they'll know me again... But mabey I could do one thing. I put the razor blade in my pocket and replaced in with bandages, I also left a small note but didn't write anything to give me away or make Mari think one of the others found it. Once I was done I brought the music box back to Maris room and put it where I found it. Then I left and went outside, I jumped into the closest tree branch and fell asleep...
Mari's pov
I woke up the next day, and found my music box completely fixed,"What the?..." I mumbled and picked it up, wait... I panicked and rushed and opened to the secret slot, it was gone!.. But there was bandages and a note, I picked up the note to read it. It read; Please don't harm yourself, it'll crush all your friends if they found out. Just know they all care about you.
And that was it, I grabbed the bandages and wrapped up my cuts. The note and someone fixing my music box was just what I needed, even though I don't know who that someone was...
Enders pov
I smiled, Mari actually listened to the note. Mari winded up the box, and the new melody started playing. Mari smiled and hugged his music box, I'm glad he likes it.
I walked away to see what ruby was up to, I overheard ruby saying something like she found out her school was cancelled today, so she didn't have to go to school. And I also heard her say she would like to head home, but she needed someone to help her find her way. Goldie said he'd walk her home and they left, I followed, of course.
When we--- they got there ruby hugged Goldie,"Bye, goldie. I had fun." Ruby whispered,"I'm glad you did." Goldie chuckled and hugged her back,"I'll miss you." Ruby smiled and kissed him on his cheek, his face turned bright red. I snickered at his reaction,"I hope I'll see you soon. Bye, Goldie!" Ruby smiled and ran inside,"Bye." Goldie replied, still blushing. I walked beside him on the way back, the entire time he couldn't stop blushing. And I swear I thought I seen him smile...
