The story of Miss Atomic Bomb goes back to the same cheating woman presented in the Killers previous hit Mr Brightside. Brandon Flowers the lead vocalist goes back to his memory of when they first met and comparing it to an atomic blast.
Nuclear testing was often tested in Nevada's desert; this was where Brandon had grown up. Thinking of the name 'Miss Atomic Bomb' came into the picture. The power of the name had inspired him to go back to the woman from the Mr Brightside and used this and the effect she had on him.
The story goes as a young woman meets ''the boy with the eager eyes''(Mr Brightside). This seems perfect to lovers together. But all goes wrong when another man enters the scene by catching the young girls eyes. It all starts when the ballerina runs into the rock 'n' roll stars arms and take a ride in the desert in the sun set. The next day Brandon goes to meet the girl to propose. And much to his surprise he finds her flirting and dancing with another man, the very same man that caught her eye from the beginning. Miss Atomic Bomb finds Brandon broken hearted and in disgust leaving.

Why would anyone in their right mind cheat on an amazing man like Brandon Flowers. He is so canny and lovely.
