Devastation, everywhere. All the houses have collapsed, all of the cars are smashed, all the trees no longer stand proudly above, the streets are flooded with water filled with debris and the bodies of people I knew.
The place where I used to live swims before my eyes. Everything is gone.
Nothing is ever going to be the same again.
We're going to move in with another family :The Woods. My family consists of me (July), Mum (Sarah), Dad (Chris), my sister Polly (3 years old)and kiwi (our dog); together we are the Browns.
Mum says the family are nice and Samantha Woods is an old friend of hers. She asked us to stay with her and her family, whilst the effects of the tsunami and earthquake wore off.
We were at our last Grandparent's funeral when the tsunami struck. Which is kind of ironic that a death saved 5 lives. The woods live in the north of Encora (the country we live in, the tsunami only hit the south).
Encora is a really beautiful country. It's a British speaking country with tropical weather. I've lived here all my life. There's no place I'd rather be.
