Chapter 1

At school

(Jacks pov)

" hey baby. Wanna hang out tonight."

"Sorry I can't. I have to study. " said jazz

"Oh come on babe. You can study another night. "

"No I can't!"

"Sure you can. No one will notice you didn't study."

(Jazz storms away and goes to her next class... English)

"Jazzy don't run away from me." " whatever!"

In English class

(Jazz pov)

*ding ding ding*

Okay everybody time for class to start." Says my teacher Mr. Todd. He goes by his first name instead of his last name.

"Today we are gonna learn about proper grammar. Who can give me a sentence using 'ain't' In it?"

* nobody raises hand*

"Okay how about jasmine."

I already dosed off I was thinking how my dad won't let me not get married to jack.

"Jasmine?"

And how he just wants to get rid of me and how he even said that to me.

"Jasmine!?"

"What? Sorry? What was the question?"

"Can you give me a proper sentence using the word ain't?"

"Um... Yes. I ain't got a worry today?"

"Wrong. Jasmine please see me after class."

*ding ding ding*

"Okay class is over remember to read 3 chapters tonight."

"Jasmine?"

"Yes"

"How come you have been dosing off In my class everyday?"

"Well... My dad is making me get married in 4 weeks and he said all he wants is for me to get out of his house."

"Oh I see. You know you could always talk to the counselor about this."

"Yeah I know, I probably will." I was lying I won't talk to a counselor about 'this'.

"Okay go get to class"

"Bye Mr. Todd"

"Bye Jasmine"
