As I chopped off the wood from my home. I grabbed the pile up, and placed them down in the back of my truck.

I sighed as I breathed into the cold weather. From looking up at the sky, there were no clouds in sight just the sun out in the open. It was mid fall, and the leaves have already fallen out to wherever it wants to be.

Once a week I get a pile of wood to warm up my home. I live alone since my father has his own place with his women.

Arriving, I opened my door and stepped in the warm house. While I stripped down my coat. I heard someone knocking on my door. I then opened it to see my father. I just plainly stared at him with no response.

"Well hello to you too son" He smiled, holding his special "crown". "What do you want?" I replied with no emotion.

"I have a favor to ask you Jonathan" He looked at me with a serious tone. It must be something important I guess. "Father I told you to stop calling me that" I rolled my eyes and walked towards my kitchen.

"Oh yes, you've told me to call you Delirious what a weird name isn't it boy?" He questioned with annoyance.

"No now what is it?" I started to make a sandwich for myself. "I need you to go out and check out my peoples towks" I choked at his response towks? Out of everything Why towks.

"Why" I asked. It's their business dad not ours. "We need to know, so our village keeps going" I sighed and nodded as he walked away.

Towks is what we call as pregnant women in our village. Father wants me to check if there are any pregnants in our village.

And if there are. Well let's just say that things don't go so great from what so I heard. "How can I tell if a girl is preggers?" I asked

"Here's some pills with super hearing take at least five, and you'll be able to hear anything that is far away".

*Pop* I moved my head back, putting the pills into my mouth. I then swallowed, a piercing sound rang into my hears. Once it stopped, I stayed quiet. Listening to my surroundings closely.

"Get to it now boy, with that kind of hearing you can hear the child's heartbeat" he then closed the door and walked out.

I rolled my eyes and settled out "well who has attention now Johnny boy" A smirk crept towards my lips. "My old pal Luke"

My brother (sorta). Chuckling we man hugged and talked. Once we said our goodbyes I headed out to my car. I then opened the door to hear footsteps.

I turned my head towards the sound. Only to witness nothing. With my stupid curiosity, I followed the sound. I heard a quiet voice but I couldn't make out who.

I reached down to my pocket and took out my mask. Placing it on my face I walked out to the bushes. And there I saw a man. He was looking down at the water admiring it's beauty.

He smiled as like the world was in peace. I glanced towards his left hand, but to only witness a glove. I've never seen him around our village before.

Is he a........?

I pushed my eyebrows together to think that he's a red. Anger flew inside me as I balled up my fist. I ran towards him, gripping his throat.

He stared at me with shock and fear. "Who are you?" I placed threat and hatred in my voice. He gasped for air trying to breathe.

I loosened my grip for him to catch his breath. "Answer my question. Who are you?" The man swallowed hard. "My.....name.....is.....
