Chapter:1

Percy's (P.O.V)

"Hey Annabeth you awake?" I whisper into my girlfriend's ear. When I don't get a reply, I look down to see her sleeping he'd on my chest. I laugh to myself because this is the 20th time she has fallen asleep while we were watching Nemo.

I wish we could stay like this forever, just me and her without a care in the world. "Why does summer have to end?" I grumbled.

"Percy?" Annabeth asks tiredly.

"Yeah."

"I love moments like this."

I love how she said that. It was like she could read my mind. I lean over and kiss my beautiful Wise Girl.

Suddenly, we are rudely interrupted by loud bangs on my cabin door. Annabeth pushes me away. "Rein check, Seaweed Brain. We got company."

Ugh! Someone just had to interrupt our perfect moment.

"Perrrrrcy! Open uppppp!" the interrupter whines from behind the door.

I know just who that is! It is my younger sister OceanBreeze (Ocean for short) and her best friends, Amber and Ella Chase. Amber and Ella are Annabeth's younger siblings, though they are only nine months apart.

"Awww, Percy we need to take them to tryouts!" Annabeth says.

Ocean and Amber have tryouts for their school, Half-Blood Junior High, soccer team. This year there is only an A team, so their nervous even though they continually made the A team since 3rd grade. Ella is not into sports at all, and will most likely have Annabeth and I drop her off at the library, or sit on the bleachers and read.

We walk out of my cabin, hand in hand. "Get in the car girls." I say.

"Do you want to go to the library, Ella?" my girlfriend adds.

"No thanks." Ella answers shyly.

"Let's go Percy!" Ocean and Amber scream.

Tryouts

Ocean's (P.O.V)

Percy finally got ready to take Amber and I to tryouts. He can be so annoying sometimes!

If Amber an I were late we would have to run 5 laps by ourselves! Today after practice we'll be informed on who made this team or not. I was so nervous! I've made the A team every year, so I don't know I wouldn't this year.

Okay, so I wasn't being entirely truthful. I'm really nervous because since my mom Sally and my dad Poesidon got a divorce when I was young, I haven't seen my dad much. Now, my dad wants to see me in the person for first time since I was 2. We've video chatted, wrote, texted, called, but never in person.

I guess I'm really worried about word getting out.

You know, I should keep my mind on soccer. "You okay?" Annabeth came over to me and asked. I secretly wish Annabeth and Percy stay together forever, because Annabeth is like the sister I never had. She can tell when something's wrong much better than Percy.

"I'll tell you later." I whispered as my older brother walked over to us. She gave me a nod, while Percy put his arm around her.

Amber's (P.O.V)

I am so excited about tryouts! I know Ocean and I are going to make the team, like we do every year. Ocean seems a little distracted, though. I saw her and Annabeth having a conversation earlier. I hope everything is okay. I saw her and Annabeth having a conversation earlier. I hope everything is okay. I wonder if Ella saw. My sister is great are deciphering people (and sometimes eavesdrops while pretending to read). I'm worried that Ocean will be too distracted and won't be able to do her best. Don't tell her I said that or you won't live till your next birthday.

Annabeth's (P.O.V)

I hope nothing's wrong with Ocean. She and Percy have been acting strange lately. She and Percy have been acting strange lately. I know Percy is being weird because he hates the end of summer. I wonder what's up with Ocean.

Ella's (P.O.V)

I probably should've taken Annabeth up on her offer when she said her and Percy would take me to the library. They were pretty surprised when I said no. I think I want to watch tryouts because I might learn something that will prevent me from getting injured during P.E when school starts next week. More importantly, I think if I learn sports it will help me bond with my sister.

Piper's (P.O.V)

I have to take my bratty half sister Kiera to soccer tryouts. There she will practice more than just soccer. Keira will practice lowering the self esteem of her peers. Ocean and Amber seem to be the only ones immune to her venom. Ella's pretty good at sticking up for herself, too.

As I pull in, I see Percy's car pull up too. I'm so glad that I will see my best friend, Annabeth. Maybe I can convince our best friend, Annabeth. Maybe I can convince her to go back-to-school shopping and get her hair and nails done. I was able to convince our best friend Rachel to get her hair straightened.

When we get out of the car, Kiera smirks in disgust at Ocean, Amber, and Ella's appearance, and they either don't notice or don't care. I see Amber with her stormy grey eyes and long chocolate hair pulled up in a ponytail. Next, I see Ella with the same eyes as her sister's behind her glasses, and her medium length black hair pulled into a messy bun that looks just like Annabeth's. Then, I see Ocean with her sparkling blue eyes and long blond hair just waiting for me to pull it up into a ponytail. (Ocean only trusts her mom and I to put up her hair without hurting her in the process.) Finally, I see Percy and Annabeth with his arm around her, they just look like the epitome of happiness. I really wish I saw my boyfriend Jason more, so we could be like that.

The group walks over to Kiera and I. "Hey Pipes!" says Percy. I give him a nod.

"Hi Amber! Hi Ocean! Hi Ella!" Kiera said in a cloying voice. "I love what you all did with your hair guys!"

"Thanks." Ocean replied, while Ella's hand flew up to her bun, and Amber just crossed her arms.

"But we haven't done anything to our hair, Kiera!" Amber replied.

"Oh.....well you should." Keira said. Then she walked over to Ocean and whispered something in her ear. Whatever my sister said, it wasn't good. Ocean then grabbed her bag from Percy's car, and ran towards the field holding back tears.

"Why did you need to do that Kiera?" Ella exclaimed angrily. My sister then went over and whispered something in Ella's ear, too. Ella then ran over and hugged her big sister tightly.

"Leave them alone Kiera!" Amber yelled.
