It's hard to fit in with the others especially when I have like 0 friends in GBMS (Golden Bridge Middle School). We just transfered from Chicago to California because my mom was assigned here at California and my dad too is assigned here.
My twin brother Jeff studies at SBMS (Silver Bridge Middle School). He's very annoying, we fight a lot! But sometimes we defend each other. One time when mom scolded me because I accidentally broke her priceless porcelain, she was so mad I saw smoke coming out of her ears then Jeff said
" Mom it was just an accident ! You are already overreacting maybe because of stress you must take a nap now!" And one time when Jeff accidentally ate the apple pie that mom made for her friends because they were coming over at the house then I said
" Mom, Jeff didn't know that you made it for your friends! Just order pizza , they'll like it!". And if you are asking why Jeff is at another school, mom said that we can't be in the same school because Jeff and I might fight a lot there at school and it might cause a lot of attention even though we already fight a lot at home.
"Jenn! Jeff! Time for dinner!" Said mom. I thought about running to the table so I will be there first than Jeff. I started running and I think Jeff was thinking about the same thing because he was also running to the table. Both of us came to the table together then we yelled "First!!"
"Jinx!"
"Jinx again!"
"You owe me a soda!"
"No I don't!"
"Jinx!"
"Jinx again!"
"Keep quiet Jennifer Haygans and Jefferson Haygans!" Mom said interrupting us." Just eat! You must be quiet until you are done eating!"
"Yes mom." Jeff and I replied.
We prayed then we started eating. As I was about to get some fried chicken Jeff kicked my foot. "Ow!" I said.
Then mom said "Shhh! You are not yet done eating!"
"But Jeff-" then mom interrupted me "But Jeff what?"
"Jeff kicked my foot!" I answered.
"Jefferson please don't do it again or you will not eat pizza for a week!" Mom said.
" It's not like we eat pizza everyday." Jeff mumbled.
"What was that?" Asked mom.
"Nothing!" Jeff replied with a fake smile on his face.
" You two are already in middle school! You are not in second grade so stop acting like you are in second grade........" Then mom told us that we must be mature and some stuff that I wasn't listening to because they were boring then Jeff started lip syncing what mom was saying and it made me laugh a little then mom said
"Why are you laughing?"
"Nothing!" I replied. "Mom can we eat now? Because I'm so hungry and the smell of the fried chicken is making me hungrier!" I continued. "Ok!" Replied mom then we started eating.
After eating we brushed our teeth then we went to our rooms. I took a look on my phone if I had a text. I had! It's from my best friend Nica. She's from SBMS she was my best friend since 3rd grade. She transfered here in California because her dad who works on the same company as my dad, was also assigned here in California. She said that she will visit me tomorrow after school. After that I slept.
