I entered the cafeteria and walked up to a pretty, dirty blonde sitting at a rectangular shaped cafeteria table.
"Name?", she asked with a bored look, still not making eye contact.
"My name is Anna Derouen!" I say with the biggest smile showing on my face making my glasses slightly tilt to the side.
The dirty blonde looked up with an amused look on her face. Then went back to work to search for my name in the stack of papers labeled 6th grade.
"Here," she said. And handed me the first lock that I've ever had. I must've been staring at it in awe because the lady made a loud noise in her throat and gave me an annoyed look. I went ahead and took the hint and scampered off to go find my locker.

Luckily, my mom and I went to orientation at the beginning of August, so I knew EXACTLY where my locker was at and EXACTLY where my homeroom was located.
Unfortunately, besides the cafeteria, that's the only places that I knew....
I rushed to my locker and checked my digital watch to see how much time I had. It was only 7:24 a.m., so I had more than enough time to decorate my locker like I planned. I practically squealed with joy at the fact that I snagged myself a top locker. I opened it up and eye-balled the vast locker in front of me.
"Time to perk this ugly thing up," I muttered to myself. I unzipped my backpack and pulled out the one and only....... MAGNETIC WALLPAPER. It was decorated with a multitude of jaguar prints that was stylishly laced with pink.
As I was decorating my locker I heard a chuckle behind me. My defenses automatically rose, and I was ready to deal with the horrors of what I heard that came along with public school.......

Hey guys, this is just a short filler chapter to allow you to really get a feel for Anna's personality. I'm a new wattpad author, and I'll be updating every now and then until I finally get to balancing out my schedule a little more.
Now I'm pretty sure you're all wondering where I'm going with this story about Anna. She's a character that I'm hoping you all will watch grow and develop as she grows from a timid middle school girl to a strong minded and wise woman the day she graduates from high school. So definitely expect a series of books when it comes down to Anna!
