Adam's POV

"Thanks for the ride!" I say as I get out of the car. "Anytime!" Charlie answers. I turn around and start walking to the house. Once I am inside I drop my keys on the desk. "Tay, I'm home!" I walk to the fridge and grab a bottle of water. "Taylor? Where are you?" I say as I get no reaction.
I take a sip from the bottle and put it back as I start looking for her. I texted her half an hour ago to ask where she was and she answered that she was home. I hear a sound coming from the bedroom. I push the door open just enough so I can see her.
She's sitting on the bed. Crying.
"Taylor what's wrong?" I say as I walk towards her.
"You know that girl I was talking about yesterday? The one I met at the secret sessions?" She asks me as she looks up.
"Yeah, Melanie." I say while i'm taking off my shoes and sit next to her. I put my arms around her and pull her close.
"She... she killed herself." Taylor says as she starts crying even harder when she says it out loud. "I just saw it on tumblr and I knew she was having suicidal toughts..." she goes on.
"Oh Taylor. I'm so sorry" I mumble and pull her closer.
"She was only fifteen! She had a whole life ahead of her!" She starts breathing uncontrollably. "I know, I know. Life isn't fair." I say to her. I hate seeing her so upset knowing that I can't do anything about it. I don't ever want to see Taylor in pain and it's killing me to see her like this.
"This is my fault. Maybe if I had sent her more messages or if I.. I dont know there has to be something I could've done!" She's having a panic attack.
"No Tay, this isn't your fault at all! She didn't commit suicide because of you. You helped her live longer, I'm one houndred percent sure of that." I say as an attempt to calm her down a little bit. It is the truth though, I know how Taylor helps people. She helps them get trough the day. She helps them when they are having a bad day. She always supports them and she hates to let people down.
"But... But maybe..." She can't find the right words to say. I start to caress her arm as I feel her calm down a little. "Melanie was a great girl," I tell her. "Maybe she wasn't supposed to be in this world. She just couldn't fit in. But besides that, she will be remembered. She will always be in your heart and that's what matters." I hear her mumble something as she closes her eyes. I stay in this position untill she falls asleep.
