Detective Diaz

Mackenzie POV
"NYPD drop your weapon and get on the ground with your hands on your hands!" I screamed at the murder with a gun in my hand.
"Good work Diaz." Harrison said to me as he hand cuffed him.
"Just doing my job"  I said cheerfully.
I took the man and placed him in the squad car. And closed the door.
"Captain, I just wanna say you did very good keeping us in line on the case. It really kept us on task." I told captain.
"I agree" agreed Harrison.
"Don't thank me. You guys did brilliant and Diaz?" He asked.
"Yah?" I answered.
"Great mapping  cordinants. And meet me back in the office tomorrow morning I have a new case I think you'll might enjoy." He said with the strictest face.
"You got it Cap." I smiled. 
For some reason I have a feeling this won't be a good case but atleast it's worth it,right? As I was taking off my vest I noticed there were a group of boys looking at the crew. At least 500 meters away. They look suspicious I left my best on and went over there.
"Aren't you guys supposed to be at home?" I asked them.
"Yah but you know we're bad asses so we like to hang out." The one with the blond hair said.  I noticed one boy who looked like the youngest and he looked scared.
"I don't like your captain. Or your whole team." The so called "leader" said.
"Why do I care?" I asked.
"You should. They ruined my life and everyone here. And listen I care about you. You may not know me but I know you. And you can't get hurt you too important." I was getting scared now. What does he mean?
" Do me a favour. Don't go over to the car. And if I here that you have snitched on us....lets just say it won't be pretty." And with that a car bomb goes off  and I fly forward and hit my head on a rock. And with that the boys were gone and it faded to darkness.
