Geoff Ramsey woke up to the most annoying ringing sound he had ever heard in his life. The eighteen year old man got up from his comfortable position on his bed and searched around the room for the offending device. He found his cell phone underneath a pile of clothes in the corner of his room. On the bright screen shown a time of 6:00 and a snooze button. Geoff groaned as he it the snooze and started rooting through his closet. This was the first day of his last year of high school and Geoff felt both liberated and pissed off. He hated the fact that he no longer could enjoy his summer. That meant no more time for video games and hanging out with his friends. Geoff smiled at the thought of his friends. The only good thing about going back to school was the fact that he got to see them everyday. He pulled a blue navy t-shirt on and pair of jeans and converse and headed downstairs to the kitchen. His house was quiet this morning seeing that Geoff's parents had gone off to work. He quickly grabbed an apple put of the fridge and his skateboard and ran out the door. He skated down the street towards the school with his backpack on his shoulder and his sunglasses over his eyes. When he finally arrived at the high school a huge smile fell on his face as he saw his two bestfriends standing on the front steps. Ryan Haywood in his blue and black leather jacket and torn jeans and Jack Pattillo in a Hawaiian t-shirt and shorts. he walked up to them and gave them both high fives.
"Ready for the senior year boys" Geoff asked. Jack smiled and nodded his head while Ryan nodded his as well.
Geoff and his friends started heading towards the front doors of the school. All this time Geoff was thinking, "This is going to be one hell of a year."
