“And where is that?” Tsunade asked her eyes narrowed.

“The one place I fit in for being myself. The village hidden in the leaves. I don’t expect you to all forgive me and I can’t just quit the Akatsuki but Asuma came up with an idea” I said.

“He did?” Shikamaru asked as he looked to his sensei.

“I did. I though maybe Darci could spy on the Akatsuki from the inside and give the information to Kenji who could send it to us” Asuma explained.

“I’m cool with it” Kenji said.

“And I’m all for it. The people who I knew as a kid are gone” I said.

Tsunade looked in thought.

“What if they were to attack?” she asked.

“The leaf? Go with them but join the leaf ninja when the attack starts” I said.

“If you do come back to the village” Tsunade started.

“When I go back to the leaf village” I said.

“I am going to have to take steps to gain your trust” Tsunade said.

“Understandable” I said.

“How is Asuma doing?” Tsunade asked.

“Fine. He just needs rest” I said.

Tsunade nodded.

“Can I return to the leaf?” Asuma asked.

I nodded.

“When do you head back to the Akatsuki?” Kakashi asked.

“After we talk” I said with a blank face.

Kakashi looked a little shocked.

I turned to Kenji.

“Can you…?” I asked trailing off.

She smiled and nodded.

“Thank you” I said before I walked forward.

I grabbed Kakashi’s hand and lead him outside.

When we were on the other side of the training grounds I let go and sat down.

The view was pretty from up here.

Kakashi sat next to me.

“What exactly do you want to talk about?” Kakashi asked.

“About what will happen when I return to the leaf. About what will happen to us” I said.

“Well, what do you want to happen?” Kakashi asked.

“I want to be forgiven eventually by my friends, by the Nara’s; continue going out with Kiba; continue being a ninja. Learn things about you and get to view you as a father” I said.

Kakashi was silent for a few minutes.

“I’m not sure about any of those except for the last one. I already view you as a daughter Darci and when you told me that you were, I was thrilled but shocked at the same time. I was more shocked then thrilled but then you left and then that fight happened and I couldn’t get the chance to tell you that I was happy” Kakashi said.

“Really?” I asked shocked.

I turned to face Kakashi and he nodded with a smile.

I couldn’t help but smile as well.

“Thank you” I said.

“What for?” Kakashi asked confused.

“For believing in me since we met” I elaborated.
