Petra's POV

it was time, time to chose what regiment I would be in. to think I had the same plan 3 year ago, to join the scouts,

flashback

I was standing in line looking striate until

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET" the commander of the trannies yelled at me

"I am Petra Ral sir" I say as I salute him

"AND WHY ARE YOU HERE" he yelled once again I'm lucky he didn't spit on me

"to join the scouts and help humanity against the titans, sir" I say

"well with your spirit good luck" he says not yelling as he moves on to torment another person

End of flashback

I take a deep breath in and smile as I walk to the lines. the front row had the top 10 and to my surprise I came 1st. I walk to my spot and what for the lecture to begin. Then a tall man with blond hair and big eyebrows walked to the front of the stage behind him where 3 other people, one with brown hair tied in a ponytail with her bangs out. She had glasses and a mischiefs smile. Next to her was a an extremely tall man with blond hair that was parted to the side, he had a noticeable moustache and a small beard. And at the end was a short man, he looked to be taller than me but shorter than the rest, he had black hair styled in an undercut. His eyes where narrow as he death glared the crowd. they must me squad larders or something I think to myself until I am drawn out of thought as the tall blond man at the front of the stage starts to talk.

"My name is Erwin Smith, I am the commander of the survey corps, I would like to thank you for taking your time to be here, if you join the survey corps I cant grantee that you live but your help will give up a step forward in eliminating the titans. so after hearing that if you still what to be in the survey corps than stay behind if not you are free to leave" Erwin explains as many people walk way

Levi's POV

I cant believe that Erwin is making me come to this stupid ceremony thing I have paperwork to finish and I have to come to this.

as I stand there not paying attention to what Erwin is saying I look at all the rookies. When Erwin finishes his speech mostly everyone leaves but a few stayed behind. the one that caught my eye was a girl that was shorter than me, she had ginger blonde hair that went just above her solders. Her beautiful eyes glistened in the light that was shone on them.

Petra's POV

I look around to see how was left when I saw my best friends Gunter, Erd and Oluo .

"I thank those who are left standing, you are very brave and I think that this will be a step forward, for humanity" Erwin yells as he salutes and we all salute back and say 'for humanity'

"you are now dismissed" Erwin says as he walks off of the stage. I then run up to my friends.

"you guys joined" I say exited to fight along side with my friends

"yeah we couldn't let you have all the fun now can we" Erd replies with a smile, than the short raven haired man walks you to us

"you guys are Petra, Erd, Gunther and Oluo right" he says coldly

"yes we are" I reply

"come with me to my office now" he says as he walks towards his office. When we get there the the man opens the door and lets us in. when we enter the room is spotless, there is paper on the desk put into neat piles. we all line up in front of his desk. he sits down at the desk and start to do paperwork. he looks up from his paper and says

"I am Lance Corporal Levi Ackerman you may know me as humanity's strongest solider, I have hand picked you four to be to be in squad Levi, You may call me captain or corporal. Your rooms are in this dorm. Have a good sleep for tomorrows training, your dismissed" as he says that I leave the room and go to my room.

my room was opposite Captain Levis room. I enter my room, placing my stuff to the corner, and lay on the bed as I slowly drift to sleep
