She ran quickly, not even wanting to imagine the consequences for stopping a moment longer. The fast tapping of footsteps could be heard echoing off the cold stone walls. A girl was running from what was her past, and currently her present.
If she had just stayed in that small room.
If she would have just kept her mouth shut, her fantasy wouldn't have been broken.
Even the thought of going mad as a sheltered individual sounds like a more favorable situation. Turning another corner, Zula was harshly grabbed by the hair and dragged into a corner. No amount of kicking and screaming would make this man, no this MONSTER let go.
"Why! Why! I trusted you. I gave you everything I had and-" her speech was interrupted when the masked man pulled her head in order to look him in the eye. That look wasn't the man that she met, Loved even, it was dark. Zula didn't want to believe what he was capable of, after all, no one realizes what a man can turn into when they have a woman by her hair. Closing her eyes, she just wished it was a dream.
"What an idiot, and here i was thinking you might have been suitable." He smirked after removing his mask. Pushing his black hair out of his face, he took another look at the woman he had dominated in amusement. Surely this ridiculous girl didn't know any better. She was shockingly oblivious to everything around her and almost impossibly sheltered. No matter, everything was in its proper place. He needed to take her to Desmond, to complete his purpose with this imbecile.
Before closing her eyes in complete pain and disbelief, Zula used the last of her energy to vocalize the almost inaudible whisper.
"S-Simeon I"
The door swung open with a booming laugh.
