~Flashback~
" Hey, shadow!" A six year old Benny smiled,"Hey, Benny..." a six year old shadow smiled back,"What you doing?" Benny asked,"Father is making me teach thunder how to fly, thunder can't even stay in the air for a minute!" Shadow huffed,"Well, if you want you can take a brake and come play video games with me." Benny smiled,"I'd like that." Shadow replied and followed Benny to his room... After shadow and Benny were in shadows fathers room,"You had one job to do! I leave to do one thing, I came back and thunder was alone!" Shadows father hissed,"I'm sorry, father..." Shadow mumbled and looked down,"You can't even talk to me properly! Look at me in the eye and speak clearly!" Shadows father yelled, shadow looked up,"Yes, father." Shadow said in a clear voice,"Now explain why you failed me again by not teaching thunder how to fly." Shadows father ordered,"Benny offered to play video games and I took the offer, I only left thunder for awhile!" Shadow answered,"Is this true, Benny?" Shadows father glared at him,"N-no, sir. She just walked into my room and said she had nothing else to do so I let her join in with playing video games." Benny lied, shadow looked at him with a 'how could you?' Look,"Good, because even the thought of distracting a leader from their job is repulsive! But who am I kidding, even if you did it might've been fine. Shadow is not qualified to be a leader, let alone be my daughter! But if you did distract a leader from their job you'd be dead meat." Shadows father scoffed,"But, father..." shadow started but was cut off by her father,"Silence! Go to your room and don't come out, I can not stand to even look at such a failure." Shadows father hissed,"Yes, father..." Shadow replied in a hushed tone, she glanced at Benny one last time and went to her room.... That night Benny snook over to shadows room, he let himself in. He found shadow laying in her bed with her laptop infront of her, he saw a whole bunch on cuts and bruises on her,"Are you okay, shadow?" Benny asked,"I would be when I know why you didn't tell the truth..." Shadow mumbled,"Sorry, I was scared of what your father would've done to me! But.. Who did this to you?" Benny asked as he hugged shadow, she sat up and hugged him back,"Ty did, he was mad at me because he had to teach thunder to fly 'cause I failed to.." Shadow answered,"You know he hates you calling him Ty." Benny said calmly,"He hates me when I even talk to him." Shadow growled,"I'm sorry, shadow..." Benny whispered as he held shadow closer....

"If you even cared about me you would've told the truth!" Ender hissed,"I'm sorry!" Benny replied,"I-I----- I forgive yo-you...----I don't blame you for lieing, most of the time lies are way better then the truth..." ender huffed,"I'm sorry, shadow..." Benny mumbled, ender dropped him to the ground,"Stop it!!!" Ender cried, Benny walked over to her and hugged her,"I'm sorry, shadow..." he repeated, ender collapsed in his arms, but he didn't fall and smiled. Benny looked up to see their back in alexs room, he sat ender on the ground and helped the others. Goldie was the one to wake up first,"Ugh, what happened?.." Goldie mumbled,"Goldie, you're alright!" Benny cheered,"Of course I'm alright. What the fuck happened?" Goldie asked,"You guys passed out and I stopped ender. Or... Shadow..." Benny shrugged, Bunny and Mari woke up,"What did you do to her?" Mari asked when he saw her,"I helped her, but I accidentally cut her stomach." Benny looked down in shame,"Accidents happen." Bunny smiled weakly at Benny,"I think we should stop the bleeding. I'll be back soon." Mari said calmly and picked up ender bridle style and left. Goldie and bunny got up,"I'm gonna go make sure everyone is okay." Bunny smiled shyly and left, leaving Benny and Goldie alone,"Good job, Benny. You're a good man." Goldie smiled,"I'm not that good. I'm just glad I came in time." Benny smiled back,"I'm glad too, if you didn't then we probably would be dead. Or we would've lost ender..." Goldie looked down,"Nah, if you did die I would've brought you back. And if ender was lost, you just have to remind her about the things she cares about." Benny smiled,"Thanks for reminding me. C'mon, let's go check on the others." Goldie chuckled and they walked together downstairs, and Goldie had his arm around bennys shoulders...
