Chapter one

"D-demons...exist?"I squeaked.

"You mean that you have never experienced one?" I shook my head. He looked up at the ceiling,and said "Kyla, what have you done?" He shook his head.

"Wait... you-you just said my mother's name!" I got up. "You know her?How is she? is she happy? Is she sad? Is she doing good? Does she watch over me? Can she hear my prayers? Can she-"

Yoku help up his hand."I cannot answer your questions. Though, I can answer only one which one?"

I took a deep breath. "Are you her slave?"

He gave the tiniest nod.

this is going to be a sucky short chapter cause i am going to start making a Seven Deadly sins story , or maybe a Fairy Tail fan fic I do hope you enjoy this chapter may have a cliff-hanger, or a few twists... guys please do me a favor please comment on what if you do not like and thank you for reading this

Unbelievable. I shrugged, and turned off the light. "What are you doing, Kori?"

I glanced at him and said, "I am sleeping. So shut up and leave me alone." I turned on my right side, my back facing Yoku.

I woke up the next morning. I looked at the time and groaned. It was 7 am and I needed to leave in 5 minutes.

I got changed (without Yoku barging in) and I pulled Yoku out of the door.

"What are you doing? I was talking with your Dad-"

"I am taking you to school with me. You will need to protect me from my daily bullies You will need a class and a uniform." I stopped and looked at him.

"You will behave. Try not to kill anyone who touches me."

He looked me up and down. "I hope guys' uniforms are different. The girls is too revealing on the chest and butt."

I blushed and walked ahead."We need to hurry up and get to school. I don't have time to-"

I suddenly was weight less, and I felt arms around me. I looked down and the ground wasn't under my feet. I looked up, and Yoku was flying with me in his arms.

"OH MY GOD! PUT ME DOWN! I HATE HEIGHTS!"I scream at the top of my lungs.

He looked at me. He smirked. "You want me to drop you from this spot? It won't be pretty. Jeez, what do you eat? You have to at least weigh like, what, 1 pound? Plus a thousand pounds!"

"Okay!"I snapped. "I weigh only 120! I may be over weight, but do not mess with me and my weihght, or I will rip your wings off, then rip your heart out!"

"OOOHHH, you are a fiesty one. You remind me of Kay-"He stopped."We are at your school."

"Wait a minute, how do you know where my sc-"

"When I was falling."

We landed, and people looked at us in awe. A certain green haired person came up to me, flanked by two bluenette twins.

"Well well well. Let's look at the scarlet eyed freak."

The word stung me. Then Yoku went in front of me. I frowned.

"Stay away." Shiyoku sounded cold. His wings were ruffled.

"Oh, look. Freak here brought us another red eyed freak!"Ren said. The twins laughed.

Then Yoku punched Ren in the face. Ren was on the floor a second, with a knee on his back. Yoku grabbed his hair, then pulled his face up. I heard him whisper, "Do not mess with Kori, freak. If you even lay so much of a finger on Kori, you will not live another day." Yoku let his head drop, and he punched Ren in the back of his head, knocking him out.

The twins were dumb enough to charge. Shiyoku sighed, then grabbed their heads, and bonked them together. He grabbed my arm.

We walked down the hall. It took 10 minutes to get his class letter, and his uniform. After he put his uniform on, he grabbed my arm, and wrapped his wings around us.

"What- what are you doing?" I ask.

"I need to tell you something."

"A-aren't people gonna hear us?" I was trying desperately to get out.

"No. Even if they were closer than an inch, they would not hear. But I have other matters to discuss with you." Yoku had a poker face on.

"Like what? Does it have to deal with my mom?"

Yoku's expression changed for a moment, hen before i can read it, his poker face was on again. "No."

He. Was. Lying.

"Why do you not defend yourself?" Yoku asked angrily. "That makes you an easier target for demons. Now, after school, you will train to use your magic with me."

I choked. "M-magic? You have got to be kidding me!"

"You got magic from your mother, and your strength from your father. Earlier, we were discussing. About you. He said that the day before Kayla Died,she told him that she would send an angel to care for you. He didn't believe her, but when I showed up, your father acted surprised, but he was angry. He knew you were never able to live a normal life, especially when I came along. It started with your eyes. When you were born, your eyes were darker than they are now. Then, you began to develop the strength to walk at the age of three weeks. You began to develop magic, but then you failed. Your mother knew what was going to happen. You were to be bullied at school, and made fun of, but then in your senior year,when you turn eighteen, you will change."He paused, waiting for me to process it. I gaped.

"How.... how will i change?" Iask.

"You will become an angel. Your wings will grow, very painfully with blood everywhere, and your halo will appear, and your armour will appear on you. A tail will sprout from your lower back, made of energy, and horns made of energy will appear on your head. Your hair will change from the color brown to blood red. Your eyes will get three shades darker, and you will have uncontrollable power. Stronger that the Queen and King of Heaven their selves. You will either destroy the world, or you will rule it with your kind heart. As for me, once you change,I will be your slave, forever." Yoku had a look of pain on his face. Then he kissed me.

It lasted five seconds, then I broke apart, and i realised that his wings were unwrapped. "I look at him, and i say, "Why did you do that?"

"I like you."

This was the first time someone has confessed their love for me...

"Really? Oh, you said that out loud. Scanning right now, about 73% of boys love you at this school, and 1% of females love you. It is a suprise nobody has confessed...."

"My question!"

"Oh. I was marking what was mine." I look back, and I see two handsome boys fleeing. "I am not your territory."

I begin to walk, but he was right behind. I then finally noticed all of the boys fawning over me. I must have never noticed, because I was always looking down.

I stopped."What does my mother have to deal with this?"

"Nothing." He lost his mood, and walked away.

He was lying. It had something to deal with Mom, and I will stop at nothing to find out what it is.
