Hazel was the new girl in SweetWater High school in Washington DC. She moved all the way from Los Angeles CA from her mom to her dad.

She has never paid attention to her dad's job. For a reason, he has never told her what his job is on. He spends time inside his office.

She doesn't mind at all though, she reads lots of books to keep it out of her mind and spends time with her mother baking cupcakes at night.

One day, she is coming back from school. She notices her dad and her mom arguing outside on the porch. Her dad storms off to his car as her mother follows behind him but he is fast enough to get in the car and drive away. She wondered what would have been the problem.

Few months later, everything is back to normal. Except that her parents aren't together no more. Hazel decides to go to their local cafe downtown and read one of her favorite books.

But while walking back home, everything goes downhill.

It was dark, she could barely see. She suddenly heard footsteps.

"Bingo", she heard someone whisper behind her that made chills run down her spine. She ignored it yet she was worry what would happen so she started walking faster.

When she turned around the corner, a hand flew around her hips and was pulled back into someone's chest. She was about to scream for help but a big hand cover her mouth.

"Shhh"."No need to fear me little mate".

She was shaking violently.

"You're coming with me baby girl. I will take my hand off your mouth but if you yell, someone will kill your parents and who will that be? Oh! Spoiler alert, that will be me.", she nodded fiercely as he smirked, and turned around towards him.

She immediately avoided eye contact.

"Look at me",his voice held too much power making her give in and look into his emerald eyes.

He growled and connected his lips with her.
