Beautiful Nightmare

Chapter 1: The begining...

It all went by fast yet so slow....

I remember, feeling the glass stuck in my skin, the pain, my head upside down, my sight blurry, her red bloody face, more pain shooting through my body.

I remember it all...

"Best party ever!" Dani shouted in the air as she drove home, Harry chuckled beside her and so did I in the backseat.

"It's a bummer Summer couldn't show up." I said in disappointment.

"Yeah, but we still had fun, didn't we?" She asked as I rolled my eyes and nodded. "I guess." I replied. "What was that?" Dani asked playfully.

"I guess we had fun." I replied again.

"I can't hear you!" She shouted playfully as Harry chuckled and I giggled.

Guess we were still drunk.

"We had fun!" I shouted back and we all laughed. Dani looked back at me and smiled as I smiled back at my crazy drunk best friend.

I giggled once more and saw Dani pulling her boyfriend beside her for a kiss.

"Dani watch out" I shouted with the beat of my heart rising to my throat.

She looked back at the road and slammed the car breaks.

The other car horned once again and kept driving as I sighed in relief and Dani laughed uncontrollably.

"Dani that's not funny." I replied with a scowl on my face.

"Yes it is." She argued, I rolled my eyes once again at her drunk like state. Harry looked shocked as he looked at both of us.

"Are you okay?" He asked looking at me and I nodded at him my heart practically about to jump out of my chest.

"Guys j-ust relax." Dani rolled her eyes.

"Danielle we could've gotten in an accident. Let me drive." I said as Dani looked back at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"I'm a good d- driver!" She slurred.

"I should drive." Harry cut in.

"No, I should drive. I'm the most sobered one out both of you." I argued.

"Guys shut the fuck up. We're all drunk!" Dani slurred in a shout. I was about to argue once again, when flashlights blinded my sight.

My eyes widened and so did Harry's. "What?" Dani asked facing us, but it was too late to answer once the truck made compact with the car as it flipped.

I shut my eyes closed only to open them again to a blurry sight.

Pieces of glass dug in my skin, on my arms, legs, everywhere. My head upside down as I unbuckled my seatbelt and my back roughly hit the roof of the car.

Slowly and painfully crawling to the front I see Harry's bruised face as blood ran from his head, my heart clenched as I look over at Dani.

Her red bloody face making my heart clench more at the sight.

Looking at them hurt, it hurt more than physical pain.

I shook Dani's body but it seemed lifeless. "Dani, Dani, Dani!" I croaked out as tears brimmed my eyes.

I could smell the oil and the gas. Harry shuffled as I looked at him.

"Eve." Harry's raspy voice called as a tear fell down my cheek. "Harry, help me. Please." I choked out in hysterical sobs. I crawled to him whilst wincing at the glass that cut deep in my skin.

He held his hands in the roof of the car as I unbuckled his seatbelt quickly.

He winced in pain also as he crawled to Dani and tried to unbuckle her seatbelt as he did so, I reached my shaky hands into my pockets and search frantically for my phone.

Once I grabbed it I quickly called the paramedics.

"Hello, what's your emergency?" The woman asked through the phone speakers.

"Please help us. We're in a car crash and-"

"Ma'am, I need you to calm down and tell me the address of the street."

"It's um.... I don't know." I sobbed into the phone as I looked at Harry who was still struggling to get Dani out of her seatbelt.

"Look around and tell me your surroundings." The woman demanded with a concentrated voice.

"Uh, I um, there's a sign-"

"What does it say?" The woman asked calmly "It says, uh, ****." I replied as I could hear her typing.

"Stay calm, help is on the way." The woman responded as the line went dead. Pulling my phone out of my ear to see that it turned off.

I see it.....

Fire is catching up and that's never a good sign. The oil and gas smell was getting stronger and my vision was becoming more blurry by the second.

My sobs were becoming muffled.

"I can't find the damn pulse!" Harry yelled through his tears as my heart ached.

"Harry-" I was cut off when my head hit the roof of the car and my vision became more blurry than before making it hard to see.

My breathing was erratic and the pain becomes less as my eyes were shutting close.

"Eve, wait! Don't close your eyes. You can't leave me alone." Harry begged as my eyes rolled to the back of my head.

Trying to open my eyes again I see Harry's figure looking at Dani's, still struggling.

He looked down at Danielle's lifeless body and looked back at me with scared green forest eyes.

As he looked back at Dani, I closed my eyes a tear falling, knowing that I wouldn't be the one getting out of here alive.

I wouldn't be the one whom was saved from this tragic ending.

"I'm sorry..." Were his last words as I felt two strong arms pulling me roughly and with desperation.

And everything around me, went black.
