Prologue

Werewolf legends originated in Native American tribes. Today they are considered just stories. The stories vary between tribes. But will anyone ever know for sure know that werewolves don't exist? What if they were real? Alexis Kenter is living proof that werewolves exist. Present day werewolves aren't the monsters they were made out to be in the legends. They aren't like the werewolves in Teen Wolf either. They aren't predators that stalk their prey or unkillable. Most werewolves live in secret and don't reveal themselves to most people except rogues. Rogues are the monsters they are made out to be. The only weaknesses of werewolves are silver and a rare herb, aconite. There is two ways you can become a werewolves, both your parents are werewolves or you are bitten. When werewolves shift they become full on wolves. Even when they aren't fully shifted they have super senses and they can sense emotions from people's scents. They will shift at any sign of fear or anger. They are dangerous yet peaceful. Before they fully shift they can feel it and their eyes change. The first time you shift is around when you turn 16. Werewolves have their own system of life, the two most basic things are packs and mates. A mate is like your life line. They are your reason to live. You don't pick your mate, the moon goddess decides for you. When you first look at your mate it changes you. Everything changes. You would do anything for them. Packs are how werewolves are organized. Each pack has a alpha, the male leader, and a luna, the alpha's mate, and a beta, the alpha's second hand man. Every pack runs differently like countries they have their own land, name, and rules.
