I see my boyfriend Lana at the gate, looking angry as ever. He really did have an anger problem and to be honest I was scared of him most of the time. Sarah and I tried to quickly sneak out the exit, but he was a whole step ahead of us.

"MARINA!" He yelled again, making a couple people start to look over. I kept walking. We were almost out of his sight when I felt a large hand grasp my dainty wrist and yank me backwards. I tumbled into Lana's chest, but I pushed away quickly.

"Why the fuck did you lie to me?" Lana asked.

"You said you were staying home and watching a movie with a couple friends. You backstabbing primadonut whore" I shrugged.

"You're such a stupid bubblebutt bitch." He stated, pulling me closer to him. I felt my cheeks flush with anger as I released my hands from his sturdy grip. I didn't know what to do. Sarah had left me and I was here to fend for myself. Or I thought I had to.. The mysterious boy from the bumper cars strolled over to where we were standing. He obviously had been watching what was happening because right when Lana asked what he wanted, the boy threw a heavy fist right at Lana's face. Lana slowly sunk to the ground and caressed his injury, but I just stood there. There was only one thing running through my mind right now. Run. I ran as fast as I could past the game booths, the ferris wheel, until I found a quiet place. I found a small spot behind one of the game booths at the end of the boardwalk.

"You alright?" I heard a deep voice ask me. I turned around and see the boy.

"Who the fuck are you?" I ask him. "Well, I'm Alfredo, they call me Red." he trails off. I had never seen anyone like him.
