Real Life is Stranger Than My Dreams

It was a clear, dark, night, not a cloud in the sky. Ugh I hated nights like these, it would've been better foggy, at least then I wouldn't have to stare into the oblivion of the street with the end, but today I wasn't concerned with that. Sadly that day was not today and none on the street could see me. I know what you might be thinking, of course someone saw you, but you're not understanding. Not a single mortal could and it was the strangest thing in the world for me then and there.

You, if you read often and like detail, must've noticed the 'mortal' I added in which I'd have to say good job. You see I was in quite a panic, I thought I was seeing things I tired to stare into the oblivion but it was hopeless. There were beings , I cannot use any other word to describe them. They sure as hell weren't human nor animal. Beasts are over-used and out-played. Plus these things did have an odd charm about them, speaking in tongues in which I could barely understand. There was one, in particular, which held my attention captive. He hissed come in his language beckoning me as I stared wide-eyed. You can bet your top dollar he caused me more trouble than he was worth.

I walked toward him, feeling a deep pull within, as if I had to go to him, as if there was no other choice. I was numb to all else but this pull, to him I went my mind clouded yet clear. I scanned the area and realized that he wasn't the only one beckoning. I felt dozens of strings pulling me to each one I felt...full I wanted it to stop. I wanted it to stop. But it was useless, I wanted, to throw up. I wanted it to stop. Tears rimmed my eyes and my mouth had filled with an acidic taste. I, clenching my stomach and pressing my lips together, wobbled toward the one who had first caught my attention.
