Prologue

Hi my name is Carmen Keen. I am 29 years old and live alone in my New York City apartment...alone. My love life isn't like your everyday romance. I don't have a boyfriend....the only one I've ever had was in the 11th grade and that didn't last very long. I'm not sure what my dream guy is and I'm not sure that I ever will. Every time I try to imagine what it would be it makes me more depressed. For now I'm fine with how I am doing right now with my job as the manager of a local bank. My perfect apartment. I just think I'm searching for something more but I don't know yet.
