Crystal Holmes

Chapter 1

"Come on sweetheart time to wake up." My father says as he plops down on my bed causing me to bounce a little. "Go away." I say into my pillow. "Get up you have school today." He says as he gets up and leaves the room.

I got up and put a pair of black jeans on and a black shirt and found my red converses and put them on.

I walk down the steps and into the living room to find my father laying on the couch and John in the kitchen making breakfast. "Morning John." I say as I walk into the kitchen and make a cup of tea. "Morning." He says as he puts breakfast on the table. "Dad are you ever gonna eat?" I ask as I look at my father from the kitchen opening. "You know your dad hardly eats." John says as I turn around and sit at the table.

I finish my food and then finish getting ready for school. I grab my scarf and backpack and start to head out the door but I get stopped by my father as he gives me a hug and a kiss on my forehead. "Be safe." He says as I leave. "Ok, I will!" I say as I wave at Mrs. Hudson as I walk out the door.

Four hours later-

"Ms. Holmes I suggest you pay attention or I will have to write you up." Mr. Jameson says as I look out the window. "Actually I am sir and your wrong with that theory." I say as I look at him then back out the window. "And how would that be Ms. Holmes?" Mr. Jameson says as he looks at me. "Well for one you are doing it all wrong and secondly I just know." I say as I look him straight in the eyes. "Go to the principles office this instant!" He says as he points to the door. "With pleasure sir." I say as I grab my stuff and leave.

In the principles office-

"Miss Crystal Holmes I'm sad to say this but you are being forced to leave this school. You have corrected every teacher since you started school and well let's just say you have been correct when you told them what they were doing wrong and we cannot have that happening anymore so you will be no longer allowed to go to school." The principle says as John walks through the door. "Oh great just the person I wanted to come get me." I say as I stand up and rush out of the principles office. "I'm sorry for her behavior in school and everything. She gets it from her father." John says as he watches me rush out of the office. "Well as I just told her she is no longer allowed to go to school." The principle says as John gets a look on his face showing that he understands. "I understand and I will explain it to her father tonight." John says as he leave the office.

I'm standing in front of the school waiting for John to come out so we can go home. "What was that?" John says as he walks up to me. "He had it all wrong I couldn't just let him continue being wrong." I say as John hails a cab for us. "Your father is going to be furious when he gets home." He says as we get in and ride back to the flat.

Later that night-

"CRYSTAL!" My father says as he walks through the door. 'Oh great he's home.' I think as he comes in the living room and looks at me. "Yes." I say as I look up at him from the couch. "How do you manage to get yourself kicked out of school? I couldn't even manage that when I was your age." He says with a smile. "Are you all right dad?" I say as I raise an eyebrow. "Actually yes I am. My daughter managed to do something I could never do and I'm happy." He says as I smirk and look over to John. "Thought he was going to be furious John?" I say smiling. "Sherlock your not mad at her?" John says as he looks from me to my father. "No. Why would I be?" He says as he sits down in his chair. "Well for one she practically talked back to the teacher and secondly she got kicked out of school." John says as he gets up and walks to the kitchen. "John I knew this was bound to happen sooner or later, it just took a matter of time." My father says. "At least uncle Mycroft doesn't know." I say as a knock that I know comes on the door. "You sure about that? You know he has eyes all over London." John says as I get an upset look on my face.
